This was thought to be a cartoon series, however this was actually unused cutscenes from the first game.

Finally an intro that blatantly admits this a cash grab.
Imagine how much this would've clashed with the actual game. Especially the ending
Now my childhood feels ripped off that this was not apart of it :(
"Your watching Crash Bandicoot, on Boomerang." :P
This would've been perfect for Kids WB or Cartoon Network on Saturday mornings back in the late 90s or early 2000s. It gave me a Tiny Toons/Animaniacs vibe.
I love how Cortex just says "Screw it" at the end and proceeds to kill both Crash & Tawna.
Oh man this is like Crash Bandicoot meets animaniacs! Freakin sweet!
Dr. Robotnik: At least I didn't end up creating my own arch enemy!
This has got to be made by the same guys who did the Earthworm Jim cartoon. Same animation style, same zaniness and heart. I love it. Kinda wish this was more of an actual thing.
Tawna looks way more attractive here than in the game
"Play our game and tell your friends so we make lots of loot."
Meanwhile, in another universe...

How ironic that I am a fan of Crash Bandicoot and this lost cartoon was posted on my birthday.
Just imagine if THIS were an Animated Series.
This just screams "Animaniacs" or "Pinky & The Brain", its so damn 90s!
New update. According to producer Dave Siller, this was NOT a promo for a failed cartoon series, but a prototype intro and ending for the first game that Sony gave the thumbs down for (and yes Tiny and the Komodo Bros were planned for the first game before you point that out).
Ιt sucks that we never got a Crash Bandicoot cartoon series. Which is weird, considering how popular it was.
It really has the old WB cartoon vibe, though if I had to pinpoint what show it reminds me the most, Hysteria. I think it's because of the theme song.
This is incredible. Could you imagine if something like this actually went through and was released? The series would have made it to even greater heights.
