  • I was delighted to join with friends from Canterbury’s Hazara community, who originate from Afghanistan, as they celebrated Eid al-Adha, an important festival. At Eid, Muslims come together with their family and friends to enjoy good food, company and conversation. I have worked closely with some of the community in Parliament, and I will continue that work if re-elected.
On World Refugee Day, instead of just talking about numbers I believe it would benefit us all if we got to know some of those refugees who have made their home here with us, forced to leave their own homes, their families and all that they know. They are engaging positively with every aspect of our community here in East Kent, placing huge value on hard work, educational advancement and mutual support.

Rosie genuinely cares. Personally I dont care too much about party politics but I do care about having politicians that are real, have real experience in life and think being an MP is about public service and not about making a quick buck or gaining power. I really hope people appreciate her efforts.
