Absolutely beautiful. It must be so awesome to have your son working with you. He’s getting to be quite the craftsman. Looks like the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. 🍻😎
Nice to have your son there; on the job experience is worth everything in the specialty projects like this. Square edge on the timbers is critical for final gluing and the final sanding.
Magnificent piece. Seriously never going to be moved once installed! Off topic - get rid of the chain disc….deadly things and OPSS has made it illegal to market them in the UK.
What is the ceramic coating you referenced. I recently finished a dining room table with hardwax Osmo oil and its really vulnerable to water rings or food grease stains wondering how I can add some protection but keep the nice sheen it already has
Great work!! With your tinted epoxy pours or black CA spot fixes, do you have any methods you use to prevent staining of wood/cells adjacent to the crack? I imagine on the larger checks/defects being filled with epoxy early you'll end up planing away material in the flattening process to remove that. I've had some issues with dark tinted epoxy/CA on Cherry and trying to figure out what steps people are using (with a lightly water dampened towel, wipe the area to fill the pores, but not enough to impact epoxy/CA getting into the crack/defect.)
What a beautiful table! I’ve a question, which machine do you use to oil the table and what kind of pads do you use? I would love to hear. Greetings from the Netherlands
I can’t remember the Mike it’s an old buffet very heavy not sure they’re still available, and I use white Scotch-Brite buffing pads similar to what are floor company would use
Outstanding table, encouraging to see there are still some people with taste who appreciate the beauty of wood! Truly great job guys!
Savage job Andy, workshop looks awesome 🇮🇪🤙🤙
Doing the build is one challenge but the delivery and set up is another level, thanks again for your time ❤

once again absolutely brilliant thanks for sharing
Amazing once again Andy well done 👏🏽
Best use of a overhead crane/lift system. I struggle flipping a 5’ x 5’ table tops here in the States. Beautiful work!
Preciosa.... Gran trabajo, enhorabuena.
Never seen a table so big.👍👍

Beautiful, my favourite use of resin by far. I want to make a desk top in similar style. The resin makes so much more of the board useable
I agree
Thats massive! Beautifully done as well. A very inspirational piece. Wow. Just ...wow. Well done indeed.
Epic build Andy 👌 looks the part 😍

Haven’t had a problem with local oak chestnut or walnut here .
Beautiful. Maybe the customer had a bad day when deciding on the colour of the legs.
Goldizen everyone’s taste but when you see how it blends with the rest of the kitchen area it really does work
Is that Black Forest wood company ceramic coating from Calgary Alberta Canada?
No it’s my own ceramic coating I’m going to be bringing it to the market very soon I’ve been testing it for over a year now
