Dude how can you say this? The Gwimbly franchise was foundational to the design philosophy of 3D action-adventure puzzle games. They laid the groundwork for games like Banjo Kazooie and Conkers Bad Fur Day. It stands up there with Halo: Combat Evolved.
I’m legitimately impressed that you made it this far without seeing a Gwimbly game. I could get it if you’re on the younger side, though. We went so long without a new game that I think a lot of fans kind of gave up hope of a revival. Even merchandise availability seemed to dry up overnight, and copyright lawyers are still coming down _hard_ on third-party and even private sellers.
I love how the CEO looks like the Worlds strongest Gamer from that one Jontron episode (Which oddly enough Zach Hadel voiced him in that episode)
He was definitely based on that.

Lyle Rath voices the CEO in this one and it's still pretty dang funny. Zach voicing Gwimbly is so fitting.
Both are based on the upside-down face “puppets” with googly eyes that was so popular back in the late 2000’s.
I had a chance to meet Mr Millipede back in the day. I was just a kid back then. My brother was a big Gwimbly fan, and I was more of a Worm Oddessy kind of guy. We visited GwimblyCon back when those were still popular. Only Mr Millipede was there, alongside some producers. My brother talked to him for a while. He was really humble, gave us a signed Creamed Corn and told us to have a nice day. I notice only now that he looked kinda sad. Kinda tired.
I was never the biggest Gwimbly fan, but I bought Mr Millipede’s Mansion when it came out despite that. The game bombed. Never heard from Mr Millipede again until he died of Fentanyl overdose.
I still have the signed Cream Corn. Godspeed Mr Millepede.

As long as they don't try rebooting it the same way they did last time. Gwimbly Recharged: Bonesplitter's Riot was a disaster. I'll never get over the weird Digimon-esque redesign they gave him. The game didn't even have any cream corn in it.
I hated Gwimbly: Springs n’ Gears. Why make a game where Gwimbly had to make motorcycles to collect the cans of creamed corn? And it wasn’t even name brand creamed corn it was like that nasty store brand creamed corn. I hated it when the game company let some rando game developer that until then just ported Chinese knock off video games make it because they were too lazy.
Its so great to see a Smiling Friends/Gwimbly crossover. Really sad nobody does anything woth his IP anymore

I can’t believe all the Gwimbly love this episode gave. I remember growing up with the handheld games that were slept on honestly. I never cared for the last one that tried 3D on a handheld, Rough and Tumble was just a nightmare
Even though Gwimbly: Creamed Corn Conundrum for the Wii wasn't very popular and the controls were a bit wonky, the wii was the only console I owned when i was younger so it holds a very special place in my heart and my favourite gwimbly game. The way they implemented shaking the wiimote to do Gwimbly's iconic victory dance was very innovative. Count Gloxia Glory Galore is still the best boss fight track ive ever heard from any game, and it shows since its used everywhere on youtube.
Azu's voice slowly getting more and more deadpan as he becomes the Charlie to Alicia's Pim has been amazing.
I love how Charlie is in the maid outfit when his nose gets ripped off, and then in the next scene with the ice pack he's back in his regular clothes 😂 i didnt realize when i first watched it, and then like an hour later it suddenly dawned on me and I had to go back and look to make sure
The saddest thing is: there are people like that muscle dude, who say that they want to be happy, but in reality they just wanna drag everyone in 10m vicinity down to his/her friggin dipshit depression schtick. They want to be and feel miserable! Don't waste your time with that...

Every time I aimed the Gwimbly gun at Count Groxia's weak points, He would just cover them up and restart the pattern.
You gotta use the environment. There’s a shock pad lever that shows up after the pattern, but it’s always hard to spot.
There's a pretty simple cheese that just gets around that completely. If you shoot him right as his attack animation begins, you can stunlock him, and beat phase 1 easily.

You should definitely play the Gwimbly games. They've definitely aged, but they're still lots of fun and his newfound crossover appearances have made him popular again.
I know people like to shit on Gwimbly 06' but I still had a lot of fun as a kid. The jankyness just made it more funny.

Make no mistake, I love my PS2, but the one thing my PS1 had that the newer generation lacked was the second Gwimbly game. I regretted giving that console away for years. Still do.
the more rare version of gwimbly is on the Dreamcast.
It’s really sad how obscure Gwimbly became in recent years. The only experience I had with his games was that one DS game that came out back in 2002 or 3 that went ignored due to poor advertising and sales. It was still part of my childhood and would play it a lot with my cousins.

With you (slowly) making your way through the TTS Emperor series I'd love to see you react to Bruva Alfabusa's Hunter the Parenting series which is a sort of spiritual successor to TTS set in the World of Darkness franchise.
Tho I would wait until your a decent ways into TTS first as some of the characters are analogues to ones in that series.
AND I would suggest watching Gothic Horror RPGs set in your Hometown - An Intro To World Of Darkness first as it's a decent primer into what the WoD franchise.

The whole 4 billion polygon new mascot thing is without a doubt a dig at how every triple A company nowadays is going to pump millions to the hundreds into just making a game look as realistic as possible before maybe deciding to actually make the game good. Fortunately despite being literally the first Quadruple A level games based on the amount you can see put into the assets alone, the soft reboot God of War sequels were actually well done.
If course for every success like that you get twenty Call of Dutys that are literally consumed by fans that dont or barely give a shit. The only thing separating that franchise from Madden anymore is the guns and the little bit of polish it actually gets in spite of being mid to trash.

I remember hearing that James (the jerk who ripped off Charlie’s nose) was apparently the person Gwimbly was making the cameo for. If that’s the case, either he moved from Idaho to Pennsylvania or he literally drove across the country just to give Charlie hell. I’d like to think it was the latter with just how ridiculous this show can be 😂

With the addition of Banjo in smash, I always thought having Gwimbly would be a good idea.
After all, both Banjo and Gwimbly were intented to appear in a crossover planned for the Nintendo Gamecube, but Microsoft's acquisition of Rare made the development of this game to be cancelled.
I hope he appears in the next installment of Smash, either as a character or a MII costume, but definitely as a character, since Gwimbly would be the first to have a moveset entirely based on Cream Corn, with his final smash being the Gwimbly Gun, and his iconic dance both as a taunt and victory pose.
