After college at the Oral Roberts University in Tulsa Oklahoma he served for 15 years on its Board of Regents, and two years as Associate Evangelist of The Oral Roberts Association, (ORA).
In 1977, Pearson founded Higher Dimensions Ministries (now New Dimensions ), in Tulsa, which grew to over 5,000.
Bishop Pearson was consecrated to the office of Bishop in 1996 thru a College of Bishops headed by Bishop Charles E Blake, presently the Presiding Bishop of the Churches of God In Christ, the denomination he was raised in and through whom he was ordained in 1971.
In 1993, Carlton married the former Gina Marie Gauthier who is a professional Life Coach and Yoga teacher.
More recently, he has felt a passion to proclaim the "Gospel Of Inclusion" and has written a widely acclaimed book by that name, published by Simon and Schuster. It confronts the Christian church's exclusivism as being inconsistent, in spirit with the teachings of Jesus.
Pearson's frank and often controversial take on a number of different subjects has earned him appearances on television programs such as NBC and MSNBC's Dateline, ABC's Nightline, 20/20, Good Morning America, CBS Evening News with Dan Rather, BET Tonight with Tavis Smiley, The Edge with Paula Zahn and Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher, The Monique Show on BET, and a number of other television, radio and print media outlets. Bishop Pearson was recognized as one of America's 10 Most Influential Black Ministers by Gospel Today and Belief.net. He has received several honorary doctoral degrees.
Bishop Pearson recently served as the Interim Senior Minister at Christ Universal Temple in Chicago. He and Gina now host New Dimensions of Chicago, building a local multi-cultural and radically Inclusive spiritual community that emphasizes expanded consciousness and Self Actualization. His newest book, God Is Not A Christian, Nor A Jew, Muslim, Hindu...God Dwells With Us, In Us, Around Us, As Us was published by Simon and Schuster and released in the spring of 2010.

I haven't watched any of your videos in a while. But, as I've finally emerged from the "dark night of the soul," I have so much clarity and Source just keeps presenting me with answers and support. With the most and due respect Bishop Pearson, I have just started listening to your broadcasts and find it to some degree speaks of my beliefs. No matter our opinions GOD our Father is still in control as Omnipresent, Omniscient and Omnipotent. One of the few instances that I would hope someday you let go, is your following of news and letting the words of infidels in leadership positions form your public opinions rather than private. The Word of GOD teaches us, high office positions are appointed by HIM. We are to pray for our leaders and also think on things that are pure and of a good report, as you know. I pray that you continue to listen to GOD our Father with the gift of discernment in what He has for you to do, that many disagree with too. Blessings Man of GOD, I know you desire to walk in the ways of JESUS CHRIST our Savior and LORD of this world, making intercessions to Father GOD on our behalf.

What is the point of even saying that. I think you are wrong! I think he has a testimony. We all know in part. I think he makes good points. I don't need to agree with him 100. He has not renounced his father in God.
William Son, he's renounced key and true doctrines of God's Word, which is apostasy in itself, and he knows that.
Pearson is a hop, skip, and a jump away from a complete renunciation, thus becoming a full fledged apostate.
When a person can renounce their belief, trust, faith in God and God's Word, they never truly had it from day one. A True Child of God, will remain a True Child of God!
Jesus told his disciples that he would be with them always. Who do you think you are? Do you think your opinion about this man's relationship with God affects how God treats him? I really think Jesus can handle bad doctrine with out a problem. He died for the sins of the whole world......
Humble heretics are the leaders in the time of the quickening of knowledge. If we don't know God loves us no matter what we will not have to courage to ask the pessary questions regarding our doctrine and our interior life.

you have great knowledge, I stopped going to church very scary they make it seem like God is soo evil, when I prayed for a job God open the door for me and somehow and I gave this job my very best came in half hours early. I turned in my work on time to assure that I'm producing quality work before my deadline. on top of all that they let me go.. then I was told God give it to you and take it away from me and I'm tired of this evil god so, I get bless and god take it back.. I have enough problem beside this.

Bishop Pearson may I ask you a question❓ Raising my son years ago you spoke of Pokemon cards. At the time you were telling parents and children that Pokemon cards are demonic and to stay away from those cards. I remember my son would be given cards by other children or they traded different keepsakes amongst each other.. well one day my son was given a Pokemon card and I would say you can't have those cards son don't bring those cards home anymore. My son would say why momma? I would say Bishop Pearson said those cards are demonic and you shouldn't play with those cards. I really didn't know anything other than what you said about those cards and I believed what you said you had great influence in the communities. My question to you today is, do you still have the same stance as you did when you stated those Pokemon cards are evil and demonic?

This is Pride speaking against God, His Kingdom, and His Righteousness! An as a person whom Jesus delivered from Satans cage, it's very much real. As the Lord took me to the gates of Hell and later had me to walk my brother out of Hell being demons were planning to kill him and keep him bound in Hell and on the second floor. Let me tell you what happens if you die in this deception. There are demons who are guards and they have your charges in the spirit realm that went against God and His Word while you were on Earth. When I was at the gates of Hell there were about 5 to 6 demon guards with a clipboard in their hand accusing I should be bound in this place of torment and I said what did i do? Jesus showed me He had freed me and they were steaming mad! And then whatever you are charged with that's where you will be bound and tormented until you are judged and then the lake of fire and burn forever. At the gates of Hell I saw bars and I saw black Spirit like (ghost figures floating between the bars).and that's all you heard was screaming and crying. It's to late for them but it does not have to be to late for you! God do not send man to hell! Man make s choice to go there by rebelling against God! The same thing Satan did and 1/3 of the angels who fell with him. Jesus warned to let no man take your crown and with speaking such as this with disdain of God it has and will take many crowns.
I think it is interesting that in 1906 it is recorded that the Holy Spirit fell on black and white. Much like it fell on Jew and gentile. I believe this signified that the real Jew is black because the black person is on the other side of the dividing wall in Babylon.

Yes, redefined. Essential Christian doctrine was defined 1,500 years ago in what we call creeds. One of those doctrines was eternal judgment.
