Very cool! I've been mulling over the idea of scratch building a GP40 just for a scenery item to go with my truck. Looks like it'd be about 4' long though. Not sure I have storage space for something that size.
hey Joe i love this and almost want to build a train like you have but I build electronics and light and sound kits for the trucks and cars and mine has a loco sound ive done for you please pm me id like to talk more about your trailer and parts for your trail set
This fall I am starting a video series for building another one of these trailers, I have been improving the design and will have the parts laser cut out and am putting together a kit to sell
Could you pm me please I have some ideas I’d like to send your way and maybe be a tester for your new trailer setup? As I will say I built my own lowboy but I’m not happy with it cuz I can’t drive my truck away from the trailer at all to connect the hitch to the lowboy deck on mine
Btw with rc servos if you pull out the electrics and replace them with like a 15$ esc from amazon your track will run much faster but also have more torque
I have been fine tuning the CAD files, fixing some mistakes, hopefully soon I will release a video of building a new one, and will make a kit to sell the parts to build your own, I need to find the best price on having them laser cut out.
All Great,keep it coming.have a great day.
I definitely want the kit or files for that trailer! Very cool! Building one out of pvc and styrene. Having regrets not a bit. Thanks for sharing!
Love the back story , amazing design and build 👍👍
With as popular as the trucks are, I am kind of surprised no one has built a train to the same scale. I've never seen one. It is a really cool build.

@@joe_of_all_trades what happened zo getting them cut on a plasma cutter. why not keep doing it
I like your dolly idea. I build 1:8 scale but don't have a track to take pictures before I ship. I like the idea of moving them by semi.
would you be interested in sell me one
