I bought this bike and have an issue with the power assist. When I set it on level 1, and barley turn the pedal it burst to 8 mph, I can't get simply "Assist", at level 5 barley pushing the pedal it is flying at over 20mph (not touching the throttle) Any thoughts?
You reviewed the Mukkpet Suburban and this bike. Which one did you like the best? I'm going to buy one of these, just can't make up my mind! Thanks
These bikes are very similar and I don’t think you’ll notice much of a difference.
The sohamo I think has a slightly larger battery but other than that they are about the same.
Do both batteries fit the same bicycle?

Just ordered this bike. Need to commute 12 miles each way 5 days a week. Hopefully it will do the job well.

2 months in I'm at 2000+ miles,the battery life has reduced some far as distance and life of battery when throttle used heavy and so has the overall top speed. However for the price of the bike,and what I've put it through I'm not complaining.

I wouldn’t, most e-bikes are not waterproof

I, in a fit of impulse that surprisingly trumps the sporadic yet incredible whimsy I have shown up until now....I...bought a car... wish me luck? Lol

I have,it still works....could be a factor in the ware and tare that mine has endured,and either way any light rain I try to get out of quickly and heavy rain I find coverage and wait it out

I watched this video as I was deciding which E-bike I wanted. I ordered the M3 because it seemed to have most of what I was after. When I got the bike though it wouldn't turn on at all. Disappointing but things happen. I tried calling Sohamo support but it just went to voicemail. I left a message and waited to hear back. After a couple days I hadn't heard from them so I emailed. 24 hours later they replied. They had me go through the basic steps of making sure it on and plugged in and charged. Then wanted me to check the voltage with a meter, which I did. That confirmed the battery was only outputting 300 mV verse the 48+ it should be. This was fully charged. Okay, so just send out a new battery right? Nope, over the course of two weeks they have had me take apart the battery, test each component, send them 3 videos, and over 20 pictures. I told them I wanted to do a full return and they ignored the request. The bike is made in China of course, but their support is also there. Despite a time difference of 11 hours I still have made sure to reply to them quickly over night. It seems like they are trying to be deliberately difficult in hopes I guess I just decide to cut my losses. Once they had my money I was stuck. THIS IS A TERRIBLE COMPANY and I wish I would had picked a different brand.

@@c1hd746 credit card company refunded it for the time being. They are going to investigate and if they find the company impeded or did not honor a valid warranty claim they will permanently reverse the charge. The weather has shifted here now anyway so I'll see how it plays out and probably try another brand this Spring. Assuming they find the company at fault of course, but with all the emails I think that's likely.
