I think you did a great job there, without any visible signs of nervousness. Not to keen on the subject matter of the song though. Would have been great if you had played the bass part at the same time.
This time wasn't so bad as it was a nice small audience, but the first time around, I was shaking. I guess it's right what they say- it's gets easier. Totally agree with you about playing the bass. I was going to do this, and I will at the next Open Mic :) Thanks for your encouragement. I need a bucket full!

But anyway, the next time you post a vid of you singing this song, I want to see that beautiful bass of yours strapped to you, and hear you playing it whilst singing your heart out! @@mastercraft5798 ya I know.. dogs on fire isn't nice.. but it's more of a parody. We were told (the festival agenda) that there will be a section for poems / songs with humour, etc.. and I googled "dog song humour' and voila... I like Bruce, and I figured that I could remember the rhythm if I knew the song. Your challenge is accepted ! Wouldn't it be awesome if you could send me a copy of you singing the chorus so that I can add it to the video !
