    So true, it's so important to check ourselves and get back into the actual moment instead of distracting ourselves all the time. Doing the hard thing is ultimately going to feel better than running from it. We procrastinate things that are hard or that we're scared of, but they tend to be easier to deal with as we think and when it's done it's so rewarding. It's easy to just ignore it and do something to calm ourselves quickly. But then we let our fears and feelings of discomfort control us and our lives. And all of the things we push away just stack up and become harder to deal with, which makes us even more uncomfortable and tired because now we're even more overwhelmed by all the time we wasted not doing anything, so we keep looking for things to distract us and calm us down, never actually getting rid of the stack that was so small at first. Life is very hard, but avoidance is not going to be a sustainable solution, it's just gonna make life harder. Being mindful of what and how we avoid is such a good step in being active in life again. And starting the habit of doing hard things when the distraction is right there, is so powerful. Thank you for this video, I think it's a very significant topic to talk about ♡
