Thank you Martin. I had my Vespera smart telescope out a few nights ago imagining the comet-a civilization level event

Thanks Martin. I hope to see this thing through binoculars. My scope and camera combo are only good for 1/2 degree FOV so may not work well for this comet. Cheers from California. “SUBSCRIBED”

Thanks for the heads up Martin. Do you have any advice for someone having to use a mono camera? I was going to try 20 second exposures using RGB filters and try my best to stack them.

Sounds reasonable. Will be a bit harder to process I imagine. I would shoot one sub per filter on R then G then B, then repeat.

Hi I'm not into astronomy per se but am an amateur photographer, is there an app I can use on my phone to find it with my 600mm lens ?

Martin, do you plan to track the comet with custom tracking in EQMOD or track it with comet tracking in PHD 2? if you do, can you show us? thanks in advance...

Hi Richard. It’s something I am looking into. If I decide to do either of those things I will endeavour to share it.

Thanks Martin for the video. Do you plan to image the comet with any filters? Here in central US I'll be doing test imaging from a B8 sky in preparation for 2 nights of imaging in late January from B1 skies.

I will be using an unmodified DSLR on one rig, and a mono cooled Astro camera on another rig with R G B filters. Lucky you! Wish I was going to B1 skies!!!
