Dude! I’m blown away man. That was an amazing montage and your process is literally awesome. Beautiful process beautiful product. My jaw was dropped for almost the entire video I was simply in awe. Thank you for sharing this, you are an inspiration.
Beautiful video and amazing craftsmanship. The S-shaped hinges show that not only you care about the method and construction but also the design. Another step, another extra effort to make the product....perfect.
I love the whole process. You can really feel how much the man loves making these. From pouring the apoxy on the denim all the way to buffing and bending the final product. I can’t wait to get my hands on these. I will proudly wear these all summer 😎 Cheers mate keep up the amazing work!
Now those are crispy! At 1st i was think no way they can make those look clean with all that glue, but all that trimming and cleaning they come out freaking smooth!
Wow, i salute you man. Its a long and messy process with a lot of resin, combine with hi tech expensive tools, custom tools, elbow grease, skill, it must be take a lot of research to create those long line production step.
I found you a while back on IG, I love your work! I made myself a couple of acetate frames about a year ago and been working on and off on a process to produce it efficiently on a larger scale. Wish you all the best!
hi im from UAE wahtch your creation impressive i need to know what kind of resin you used from where can i get give me link or detail i need fom some good purpose ?? THANKS
Amazing work! I am here from reddit and wondering where I could buy these?? I honestly love the creativity down to the waxing, you really deserve more attention for your work.
Amazing work! Beautiful process and results. However I must ask if it is just a personal preference or a part of the process that creates the “cloudy” look when the denim is sanded into. When working with other composites sanding into the cloth is usually undesirable, but I must say I think it really works with denim! Do you apply a final top coat or is it just the wax? Thanks!
I've carried out a few experiments, but I have been focusing on denim fabric until I have a bit more time to explore other materials. The trouble with a patterned fabric like that is that you would lose most of it when it is in the shape of sunglasses, because of the small area involved. So unless the pattern was very small, you might not be able to tell what it is.
@@mosevic_eyewear I was curious about other fabrics also. like hand woven dupioni. something that has visible and interesting texture. but also. luster? love the BTS of your work
Wow I loved It is excellent work and Very very good This is a wonderful thing. Is this epoxy, or fiberglass or plastic? I would be grateful when responding 🌹🌹
Hey any chance you can get just the frames without the lenses for cheaper amount as of now they remained the same price weather you chose lenses or no lenses.
Interesting stuff, I graduated doing product design in Cornwall this year, it's a shame I didn't know about you whilst I was down there! Keep up the good work, and they don't look ugly at all. Any thoughts on development of this technique?
@@mosevic_eyewear Yeah, its a good course, I was just asking in terms of making it more efficient/other products? 🙂 It looks like denim has some really nice/interesting flex to it
@@LouisHv2 It could be made into all sorts of things using a similar process. However I don't have the time to explore any at the moment sadly. This keeps me busy enough. Yes it's very versatile. It's flexible and strong. At one point in the video you might have seen me hitting it with a hammer. I reinforce the temple arms with spring steel, because without this they would be bendy, but not very springy if you see what I mean. It needs the steel to return to it's original shape each time.
as long as the fabric absorbs the resin. It's taken me along time to develop a way of making the finish nice and other fabrics might require a different way of finishing. Different thicknesses would complicate things too
@@mosevic_eyewear thank you. I wish there was a school here in my country that taught skills like this. I would love to learn how to custom make my own eyewear brand. Do you have a list of tools needed for this process?
I don’t agree, I have some previous models and I always get lots of positive comments. If you are a denim freak and appreciate British innovation and craftsmanship they are quite brilliant .

Harris Tweed would be another interesting material for sunglasses
Awesome! You should partner with Orange Cassidy.
I'm sorry I want to ask mister I want to ask what liquid is used
Impressive!
Would be great to have all the equipment
Did you try some other fabrics as a base material? some flowery curtains might work as well

How much research went in to the production equipment design ?

Bravoooo 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Take care with textile dust. Its very hazardous for lung and it may lead to lung ca.
