    Good morning,
I left my Koleos 1 2.0 dci automatic gearbox this week at the garage to change the crankshaft seal on the flywheel side.
I picked up my car today, I did 50km on the motorway without any problem, it went through all the gears and was smooth, and when I got to town, my gearbox started having trouble shifting into first gear, then at one point it got stuck in 3rd gear. When I switched to manual, it remained in D. Finally, a message "regulator to check" appears.
By restarting the car, it's ok for a few minutes then it starts again.
I went back to the garage, we did a diagnosis and when we accelerate, the turbine speed is at 0 when we accelerate, and this blocks the gear change, we have to restart the car.
    Here are the diagnostic errors:
    - P01717: turbine speed sensor circuit (active)
    - P1525: consistency of multiplexed information for cruise control, the information is not compliant (active)
    - P074491: torque converter clutch ev function, converter lockout control (memory).
Do you know where this could come from please?

The gearbox had to come out of the car to do that repair Of course. I’m guessing something was left unplugged. Like the turbine speed sensor and possibly other sensors and that’s why you had this problem after the repairs.

Wouldn’t hurt to upsell a drain n fill on the transmission fluid

That’s a good idea and will probably do some services later this is a company truck he has other trucks and wanted making sure that this one was going to be OK and not super expensive to repair 1st

I have a 2012 Toyota Tundra with the same problem and every parts store gives me a different part number Toyota said part 894130c021 and trying to find parts from Auto Zone, O'Reilly price is anywhere from $39 to $192 because of the different part they say to use HELP.

I got it right from the dealer that had one left at one store in the network otherwise I don’t remember if they had any. If you haven’t called the dealer yet I would try that you know it will be right part even if it’s a little more than money.

I replaced the input turbine speed sensor and still code is popping up and still stuck in 4th gear 2WD TUNDRA 4.6 2012

You would need to do more diagnostics could be a wiring problem Or always possible something internal to the transmission

@@WorX4ToolZ I was thinking maybe solenoids but I’m pretty sure the one scanner would of detected that right ? Or am I wrong ?

According to the code, in the book there’s only four things that it mentions for possible problems
      The speed sensor failed
Sensor circuit is open or shorted
Connector is damaged which could make it open or shorted
      Or ECM failure
Having said that, there’s alway a small possibility that mechanically something on the input shaft where the sensor reads could be a problem
This sensor, read zero ohms also checked power and grounds on that one and the rear one and compared

I checked everything but ecm how do I check if ecm is bad ? Because I ereased the code on the side of the freeway and it goes all the way to 6th gear but light shows up again

@@Kevvoo5.0 when the light comes on and you slow down do you still loose 5/6 gear…are you able to watch the sensor with your scanner to see that it’s not working? If I didn’t mention it before, if you didn’t get a dealer part it’s possible the sensor is bad..once you make sure none of the wires have shorts or opens
all you can do is check power and grounds to the computer
