- This Botswana Safari Documentary charts the journey taken in mid-2020 by the Pangolin Photo Hosts through the deserts of Botswana. From the Makgadikgadi Pans to The Dinaka Hide in the Central Kalahari and then back up to Nxai Pan, via Baines Baobab, for an epic lion photo safari
Welcome to our channel which is dedicated to the wonderful world of wildlife photography. We endeavour to load one new video every week featuring beginner to advanced photo skills, editing tutorials, hacks and gear reviews. We are based in Northern Botswana in The Chobe National Park and we invite you to travel here, either virtually or physically, and we will do our very best to make you a better wildlife and nature photographer. That silhouette footage of the elephants and giraffes, I found myself saying "They are merging, we just need some separation" then bang, the ele lifted its head and stepped back revealing the third giraffe at 11:52 and a fraction, sitting in my office in central Australia my trigger finger actually fired and I "got the shot". Man I'd love to return to Africa. Maybe one day.
If I could choose a place to pass happily from this earth that would be it. I probably should go elsewhere with Pangolin... Thanks Guys for reminding us of the real beauty that still exists out there.

Four days ago, you asked: "Have you been to the Kalahari before?" Yes. In March 2019, I created my own trip - I'm an American independent traveler - that included Nxai Pan National Park, Baines Baobab, and Makgadikgadi Pans with 3 local guys out of Maun. That part of my trip was just 5 days but it was a dream come true. I was mesmerized as I saw thousands of zebras migrating to the pan to graze on the abundant grasses. I saw so many other animals just like in your video. My photos aren't as spectacular as yours but the amazing images are embedded in my mind forever. :) After a camping safari in the Okavango Delta beginning in Maun and ending in Kasane, I joined a 7-day Pangolin Safari (Pangolin Hotel - Wow! What a change from my camping experience! and then on to Khwai River Camp). As an aside, my final stay was in Jaci's Tree Lodge.
You are the BEST team of photographers I have had the pleasure to tour with!! Your knowledge and expertise guided me to a much better understanding of photographing wildlife!!!!!
