Ok say you had fertilizer as strong as your own how much in cups would you add to one gallon of water??
Greetings from Ukraine. Using your education this Spring. Several barrels were started in September. Thanks.
Cho's book was what got me past the whole aerobic/anerobic divide into the, ehh it's organic matter, grow fertility and the soil life will take care of itself.
Bro, I love your channel, thank you for not poisoning our soil and animals, I am really glad that I found your channel, I am learning, watching from South Africa, God bless
Thank you so much for recovering JADAM principals and in your setting like pastures. Would not have thought of ash in JLF. Love hearing the local ingredients to us. Really appreciate your reiterating this on a mid farm level as well as garden. You are aninspiration answer for me. Love the blue truncheon. Go Marco
I have an in ground swimming pool half full of free wood chips, a flock of ten laying hens, and between 10 to 30 colony meat rabbits. I put every bit of scrap food in the pool (meat, veggie, starch, etc.), most yard clippings, and grow tons of leafy greens just to feed the rabbits and hens with (in addition to pellet feed).. Ton's of worms, mycelia/fungi, plus fertilizer from the chickens and rabbits. Rabbits can't dig out of the concrete pool, but can tunnel in the wood chips.
The rain water that collects in the pool and ferments under the wood chips (probably close to a thousand gallons of compost tea at times) smells sweet and pleasant. The chickens drink the dark brown compost tea at times when they scratch down deep, and I've never had a problem arise from it.
This is gold!! Thank you
Its insane to see how much you and your channel have grown. I'm so proud of you bro. 🙏
Great video thanks for putting this together 🙏
Amazing video dude, thank you for putting this info out there!
You are a powerhouse!
Great video Steven
Great video thanks for sharing!
My husband and I were listening to you speaking about your beliefs on a Fall of 22 video. We were blown away by your beliefs! You're amazing! I didn't hear anything I could disagree with. I don't know anyone else like that. Absolutely amazing!
❤️❤️great video full of information 💪🏾💪🏾
Good work on the spreader. If you want to get more precise on application, get some nozzles so you can measure the amount of liquid going out + speed to get your total.
Great content
Thanks. I'm glad to see you're kickin' ass since you left commiefornia. I always learn something from your videos.
I've got an old plastic brewing bubbler I've been saving not sure what to do with. i'm totally going to put that little bubbler out in the garden and start brewing some high nitrogen juice.
This is a great little starting platform of info for my next science project out there this season. Thank you sir.
Never mind, I did find it, thanks.
I'm very interested in your Korean Natural Farming Chickens class. Looking forward to it!!
Cool watering big fields like that organically is rare, I’ll check your channel to see if you have results posted, I’m sure it helps. I didn’t know liquid organics could register as EC/ppm, that means they registered as mineral ions dissolved in the water, surprising. Yes those pens are used for hydro chemical fertilizer usually.
Does it matter if my JADAM liquid fertilizers freeze in winter? I live in Canada and really dont want to bring it inside my house. I love your content and have learned so much from you. Thank you for all that you do!!
Thx you for sharing your knowlage.
I was wondering how was the result of using JLF so far? I had make my JLF and will startbusing it.
Wow lovely, interesting,in Zambia is my destination.
Where can out source the measuring instrument you are using, really comprehensive.
Some people have suggested that using nightshades crop residues to make and apply this type of liquid fertilizer could risk exposure to excess solanine. Any concerns?
cool, i made some a while ago that I'm going to use soon. any way to deal with the strong smell, or just tough through it?
Tough it out haha you get used to it. I wear gloves because if you get it on your hands the smell sticks. Vinegar + lemon gets most bad smells out from anything I've found.
Hey,can I use dam water for JLF and JMS?
Hi, Can't find where to order this book!!
I have a bin full of various garden trimmings but the issue I have is that it's buoyant so it's difficult to fill with plant material because it just spills out the top
Try 50% plant material the rest water and don't fully fill the container. A large heavy plate like for weight lifting with rope attached to remove can help.
Hi good morning
REALLY good info. I'm looking to buy the rain barrel. Checked out your store, but none there. Can you possibly help me out and let me know where to get one? I would rather the lid not have a hole in it for the gutter to come into the barrel.
Facebook market place or other local sales websites like LSN you usually can find local people selling them. There's an amish farmstore an hour from me that sells them at a good price.
Looks like you moved from California; good stuff
💚👍
Hi, thank you for another video. I imagine I’d have to read the book for better understanding but one hears often compost needs to be aerobic for unhealthy microbes don’t proliferate. Would not KNF approach promote more pathogenic anaerobic microbes as it uses anaerobic decomposition? Forgive me if that’s something I need to research more on my own but it’s a question which pops to me when hearing the approach. Cheers
We are just utilizing different sets of microbes depending on context. Thermophilic composting should stay aerobic. But the idea that anaerobes are bad for soil is just reductionist nonsense. Not harping on you just the "Experts" that refuse to understand this. Is an animal dying and decomposing in the woods bad for the soil? Are the anaerobic microbes that process the food in the gut and intestines bad? Of course not. Anaerobes and facultative anaerobes and fungi are all throughout the soil, air, even our bodies. Balance and a holistic approach as always are key for any biological system. Soil science is incredibly new and God's design is infinitely complex. Observing and mimicking patterns of nature will always be superior to any science no matter how much it can help us learn specific things, in my opinion.
@@NaturesAlwaysRight very good points, makes sense and thank you for sharing it again. 👍
get the book! The philosophy section is quite enlightening@@Fazendinha_TAS
So, despite common fears … it is usually ok if it smells bad right?
can i put labs in mine? would that be good? i did that on my fish one and my two other ones and it seems to be good just would like your view on that please> thank you love your channel
May I now the name of that instrument you use @ Marco tnx
Is having a lid that closes air tight completely essential? I tried some this year and the lid didn't close air tight and I wasn't sure if it worked very well.
Yes because the water will evaporate.
yeah this is true it dropped by 10gal or so over the season. Do u think i should still extract the remaining 3/4 liquid and use next year? Also what is your opinion on freezing? I know he says not to let it freeze but i am in Canada and that is very difficult. thx@@NaturesAlwaysRight
the cool lab trun what ever is 140.00 not 75
Can I use this on my tomatoes that's pretty young like 4 true leaves old?
Sure if it's something you're throwing away. Anything can go in there. Great to have a barrel going all the time so if you don't want to throw it in a compost pile it can just go in the JLF bucket.
I'd test on one seedling. I wish you could tell me the result 😊
@@blessildajoy I will
@@NaturesAlwaysRight I meant using the liquid fertilizer on young seedlings lol
Why my fertiliser has white patches in the closed containers after 1 month and longer?
That's good it's a grow out of lacto/yeast breaking it down.
BUONGIORNO HO VISTO ATTENTAMENTE TUO FILMATO ASSAI INTERESSANTE E TU FAI VEDERE UNO STRUMENTO CILINDRICO LUNGO 50 CM. DOVE POSSO ACQUISTARLO GRAZIE DI CUORE
does your jadam grow worms in them? is it normal to see worms growing in them after 25 days? or having worms means the process was wrongly done?
Ya if it isn't air tight flies or other bugs can find their way in and lay eggs. Doesn't matter though they die and it's just more nutrients for your plants.
@@NaturesAlwaysRight Wow you reply fast. Thanks for your answer, it makes sense. The other thing is when i stir the solution it smells like a choked up drain in summer, and i have all kinds of fungi growing on the surface, is it supposed to be like that?
Is it as powerful as ammonium nitrate? Love from Kazakhstan 🇰🇿🇰🇿🇰🇿
At a strong enough strength yes and you'll need a lot of high N material like manure to break down. 40-40-40 is strong stuff..
Have you compared the quality of animal protein fed on planta grown with this methid vs mass produced feeds? Thanks
dropped, rodent/bird scourged pears are very good
What a pity that there is no content in Spanish
🎉😂😂😢🎉
Too much dragging with unwanted things
Great video Steven
