    Analysis: 1:51
    Flight #1 vs Flight #3: 3:22
    Like in Flight #1, the used motors for all flights were 4x D3-P Motors. They produce a thrust of about 12N for 5.5 Seconds.
    The weight of the rocket was ~890g, so the average acceleration should be ~1.3g, yet the motors underperformed and the rocket was much slower.
    Oh and sorry about our english with heavy german accent + bad quality :D. We try to improve it next time!

    THIS IS INSANE!!! Okay clustering is something that is a huge challenge for average model rockets, the fact you did this with TVC is ABSOLUTLEY impressive! You deserve so much credit!!!

    Great job. Control on flight 3 was really good. It’s so hard to get those PID parameters correct.

    Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum erfolgreichen Flug.😀😀 Würde mich freuen wenn ihr ein detailliertes Video zum PID Tuning macht. Wird eigentlich auch noch der Basic Code auf eure Webseite kommen?

      @LTModelRockets  3 года назад

      Ja kommt auf jedenfall. Wir wollten den eigentlich schon vor längerem hochladen aber haben uns dann doch entschieden bis zum ersten richtig guten Flug zu warten.
      Ich werde den Code im laufe der Woche hochladen, da noch ein paar kleine Änderungen nötig sind.

    That was a nice flight but are you planning to make a falcon heavy like rocket next or like what are your plans? Much more controlled rocket and the TVC worked well.

    • @LTModelRockets
      @LTModelRockets  3 года назад +2

      We dont know exactly yet, but one plan is to build a falcon 9 or Electron replica this summer and a Starship replica (with RCS, fins and bellyflop etc.) Later this year.

    Hallo, ich bräuchte eure Einschätzung wäre es möglich eine Rakete zu fliegen mit einem center core der TVC hat und zwei Boostern welche kein TVC haben? Ich hätte geplant dabei 3 D9-P motoren zu verwenden da diese die nötige Power mitbringen

    • @Zenlayne
      @Zenlayne 3 года назад

      Die D9-P Motoren brennen nicht lang genug. I denke, dass die D3-P besser sind. Du kannst versuchen aber ich denke nicht, dass der TVC nötig ist, weil es zu kurz brennt.

    Hallo! I am making an Arduino based Flight control system for a model Starship.
    Do you find that the 3d printed TVC mount is reliable enough made out of PLA?
    I am starting with an electric prop system for ascent, however I want to eventually move to Estes rockets for higher performance!
    Thanks

    • @LTModelRockets
      @LTModelRockets  3 года назад

      Yes, Its extremly stable with PLA. The only problem is heat, but thats why we use aluminium casings for the motors.

    • @LTModelRockets

      It will probably jump of the pad but immediately fall down because there is not enough thrust.
