I love the fact that HyunA feels free to express herself and not repressed like she was before. She doesn't pretend to follow standards, she doesn't pretend to be someone she isn't, she pretend to be herself, not the typical "good girl" idol, who only pretends to please others, for this and more, HyunA is ICONIC and TALENTED in everything she does, i'm so proud of HyunA.
In fact, she was always be highly sexualized by her previous companies, and from an early age too, despite having many opportunities and being the "favorite" of her old companies, many times (like most idols), she had to do concepts or things that she did not want, they did not care about their mental and physical health, everything was fine as long as HyunA gave them money, and many other things, i talk about the general repression (not only in the field of expressing). 💕
Behind this poppy music is really the most transparent truth. Hyuna doesn't want to fit in the persona of a typical "good girl" who gets to decide the criteria anyway, she wants to do what she likes whether that makes her good or bad - and she encourages people to do the same. Because it was more than one person. There are parts of the song where it seems like they either maintain the vocals of whoever did the demo, or just had an unnamed vocalist polish the track up. A lot of people in the industry to this, and it is what it is. I notice it's a lot of the younger fans that try to play semantics & say this is just showing how multifaceted her voice is, and they can take that nonsense back to their 3rd and 4th gen fandoms. Hyuna has been in the game for over a decade, and she's not known for her vocals in anyway, shape or form.

Like you said many artists keep the demo’s vocals in the song and there’s nothing wrong with that, but many HyunA fans know that her singing and rapping voices are different. If you go back to her old b sides though you will see that it is actually HyunA’s singing voice.

I feel like Hyuna is finally showing her true colors in her music now that she is not with cube anymore, idk it's a vibe I feel, it's like she is 100% her in her music and I just love that for her.

Also I’m talking about the lyrics, how she is saying how people’s perceptions of her doesn’t affect her, never said she didn’t say that before just that with the dating scandal a lot of hate was thrown to her and I feel that you can see in her lyrics that it didn’t bring her down.

Because it was more than one person. There are parts of the song where it seems like they either maintain the vocals of whoever did the demo, or just had an unnamed vocalist polish the track up. A lot of people in the industry to this, and it is what it is. I notice it's a lot of the younger fans that try to play semantics & say this is just showing how multifaceted her voice is, and they can take that nonsense back to their 3rd and 4th gen fandoms. Hyuna has been in the game for over a decade, and she's not known for her vocals in anyway, shape or form.
@@ZeriocTheTank If you listen to Hyuna’s b-sides her singing voice has always sounded like that. Like you said many artists keep the demo’s vocals in the song and there’s nothing wrong with that, but many HyunA fans know that her singing and rapping voices are different. She trained to be a vocalist at first and learned to rap from LE of EXID which is why her rapping voice sounds similar to LE. If you go back to her old b sides though you will see that it is actually HyunA’s singing voice.
