I was never into Miss A at their height (got fully into k-pop in 2016), but I come back to their songs now because they're so good and catchy! Bad Girl, Good Girl and Hush in particular. They're so iconic, and they absolutely should be receiving the love and recognition they deserve from newer k-pop fans.
This music is better than the overhyped "noise msuic" new groups have been releasing.
Will remain as one of the most successful debut songs. This song is a classic.

I love the message/lyrics in this song. Especially for it's time in Korea. And most girl crush "bad girl" concept songs are all just about "I'm so cool I'm so bad don't mess w me" but this is almost opposite like don't judge a girl on how they look or dress they are still people w feelings and can be sensitive, caring, etc

ugh still the best debut of all time. i remember when this came out; it was out of nowhere, no hint, no teaser, nothing but it shoot straight up to the top on virtue of the song alone. i played it all the time the summer this came out. so sad miss a had the ending they had and thinking what could have been is just... sigh. but so glad the girls all went their own ways so they can chase their own dreams. suzy and fei were SO pretty here i was shook when this mv first came. and jia’s pink hair was a shocking thing then and suddenly idols started sporting bright colours everywhere. ughh i miss them together so much but them now is just not the same as debut miss a 😭😭

Technically, yes “Bad girl good girl” is the only debut song in MAMA history that won a daesang. In 2009 2ne1 won SOTY (song of the year) with “I don’t care” and not their debut song “Fire” but both were released in the same year. The next year in 2010, 2ne1 won artist of the year and MissA won SOTY with “Bad girl good girl”.

I love the lyrics here so much. What they are trying to say through this song is absolutely real. When a guy sees a girl who is bold and not afraid to express herself, who is not confined by the rules of a good girl in the society, they think this girl is trash or she is a hoe.. They have all sorts of bad things in their minds for her.
Society is so quick to judge someone by their clothes specially in the north asian countries where I live..its like they are saying your clothes are what that'll decide your character & whether your *good* or *bad*

I honestly don't know miss a too well. But from what I heard, they are a group that's known to give womem empowerment messages through their songs & I can definitely see it in this one. Its a shame that they disbanded otherwise I would stan them. They are such an unique group.
I agree with you completely, and it is not just in Asian countries. Everywhere many people are quick to judge men, women, kids. It happens simply because you are somewhat different from them, from what they are expecting. For instance, if you have a different skin color, if you have less/more money, if you are more reserved or if you don't have the same tastes. It can even happen if you don't choose to do the same thing as that/those person(s) (even though you never had to do that in the first place).
Asian countries may be different from western countries in many regards, yet people and places are similar... It is very inspiring to have works of art, such as songs like this or bands such as Tsunami Bomb that make you think differently, in someone else's shoes, to realize you are not alone and you are stronger than you, and, especially, the others think.
I guess we need to be living examples of how NOT to be, and seek more inspiring examples. I am not perfect, but I do not need or want to be a bad person. That's enough, I suppose.

Way back 2010, JYP debuted a girl group which consists of 4 members (2 chinese, 2 korean) as WG being busy with their US activities, JYP produce this group having some different vibe compared to their first girl group successor (WG) which has more spice and less bubble gum concept of debut. Having a fierce charisma on stage while pulling off the sexy image with class. At least not with minors. Suzy was just 15 in this MV. If a minor in today's Kpop generation debuted like Miss A, there's gonna be a lot of problems. But in reality no kpop group will ever replicate a debut that would go completely against the kpop standards like Miss A did.
