Thanks for responding....I know someone who also makes gorgeous hoops using Duct Tape...she said the same thing! Maybe the negative comments about it are designed to get people to pay exorbitant prices for fancy hoop tape. Thanks for your video and showing how beautiful duct taping can be!
I just started making hoops and hooping. I CANNOT get the spacing the same after a few go arounds. It gets smaller and bigger as I go :/ Any tips on how to keep the distance the same all the way around? Thank u!
Great video that will save me a ton of money on tape! I was wondering what the other tape you used on this hoop was? If you use duct tape do you still need to use a grip tape also? Thanks!!
Marianne Wingler I just saw your comment today Marianne. The other tape was either vinyl or duct tape...both are grippy but gaffer tape is the grippiest. Hope that helps :)
Awesome! I love this, the only tape that I can Buy in my country is this and the gaffer tape, someone knows it is posible to do the same with the gaffer tape?
I'm not sure where you heard that, but Duct tape is known for it's strength, hence it is used on ducts and pipes. I wouldn't recommend leaving your hoops in a hot car for more than a few hours, but I haven't had any negative experiences with duct tapes, and none of my customers have ever mentioned this.
I've heard (and read) not to use duct tape because once it's warmed by your skin (or on a hot day) it melts and tends to slip, leaving a sticky residue. I've seen gorgeous new duct tape designs but been afraid to use it for that reason. Do you have any negative reviews on your duct taped hoops?
