We can't help the flipping weather! What a moronic thing to say! 🤣 Please send us a link to all the videos of you personally camping in these conditions? You should try coming over to the UK and camping in 40C temperatures. You won't be so cocky then 🤣 Cold is easy, you just take warmer kit (that's why there's loads of videos on RUclips!). It doesn't take the brains of Einstein 😏
Some people feel like they have to 'prove' something. Maybe to overcompensate for a small trouser department maybe or an unhappy marriage 🤔. There was us thinking camping was supposed to be something enjoyable and a time to relax....
Ooh tough guy eh,try camping on a site in England at the height of summer, theres kids screaming, people drinking fosters lager, burnt sausages and karens galore 😂😂
if a public footpath is blocked please inform the Council in charge of those - and the Ramblers association! Even if you are not a member I am sure the Ramblers association will look into the matter as well. The issue comes when some paths are permissive by the landowner and are negotiated with the councils. It saves the landowner having people trampling everywhere trying to get from A to B. My Uncle had a small farm in Yorkshire many years ago - with a public footpath in the middle of his fields. He was cross with everyone wandering around his sheep field. I pointed out that people are sheep, and if he cut the grass and formed a path where the footpath is marked on the maps, people would follow it faithfully. I was right!!
How rude of you, saying people are sheep. By the sound of it, he made a path and people out of respect followed that path. Without an hint of a path, people are bound to trample everywhere.
By the looks of the fence, the height of it would suggest it's to keep out animals and not humans. And probably to stop deer if in the area, destroying the trees, including flora and fauna as they can easily jump a normal height fence.
It's definitely a deer fence. But the thing is, we saw 2 herds of deer stuck on either side on 2 separate occasions. So it's clearly not working as intended.
Just kick down the barrier. I was wanting to use a public footpath but it was totally overgrown with vicious out of control brambles from the field next to it. But then there was a path in the field that everyone had clearly been using instead, so I used that, then signs appeared telling me to keep out. I was tempted to replace them with my own signs about their neglect causing injury hazards, but love demanded I put on some shoes and gloves and cut away all the brambles, rolling them back over the fence instead. It was a nice project, I enjoyed it. :)
If you get the chance try Deuter backpacks, I have had a few day packs and larger backpacks for many years, great mesh for the back, no more sweaty backs.
I'm good now thanks, I think the Osprey looks to have the edge in breathability of the back (from the Deuter packs I certainly looked at), that was my number 1 priority with this pack. I've no doubt the Deuter packs are very good though 👍
Thankyou for a great video. love the set up. I was smiling while watching both of you. I haven't watched your content for a while . take care and god bless.
When I read the title, I was expecting to see you guys with a pair of wire cutters, “taking-a-fence"……😂😘✌️🇬🇧🇺🇸✌️PS: That’s a cool looking pack. Zoe mocking your hunger….🤣
I'd definitely be reporting that farmer for that. As for a sweaty back, I'm the same, even in winter. I looked at the osprey but because i hate my Aether 70L (too uncomfortable for me) i went with the decathlon 60+10 which has almost same design for the back and i have to say, it works brilliantly well. I love the tarp a d bugnet set up, even better if any wildlife goes past. Great to see you back out and enjoying yourselves. All the best.
Gareth, I agree with trusting your senses and going with your gut instinct. I think your subconscious sees patterns and matches them to previous scenarios you have experienced and that is where your tingly spider-sense comes from. Of course that could be utter rollox.
I think farmers all over England are taking the piss now by blocking up old tracks & gateways, they must be getting subsidised to do it,Carry on camping ❤
iv only watched first 30 seconds of this but yup some farmers when i was 15 farmer ramed me with tractor police called it acident i was on public footpath
That looks like Deer fencing to me. Are they replanting the woods or trying to protect it from damaging wildlife. Not so much fun to climb. Lol . Good to see you made it out and about.
Should ask those same people why they put a coat on without a hat, heat just escapes from your head right? I do love a nice woodland camp, although beaches seem to have my passion at the moment for some reason.
About 10 percent of body heat is lost through the head, so a relatively small amount really. The torso loosing the biggest portion generally. You're having a right binge watch atm Matt!? 😄
I found a mesh dryarn vest works much better than coolmax to wick away the sweat. I have the same issues as you. It also does not feel cold when stop. I was lucky to get it on a sale as it is not cheap.
Unbelievable they honestly believe they own the land they stole. Vandalism and crimes against humanity these landowners should be convicted of in a court by the people for the people under God's law.
Pretty tame camping. Come on over to Canada, try some winter camping at 30c below. Lots on RUclips.

Why? Why is it tame if it's not below freezing? I hate camping in the cold.

@@ianwilde1800 He can't though, he would be charged with murder/ GBH
That farmer definitely took the fence. Good to see you managed to get out of the wind. Cheers, Dave.

I have a Osprey Rook too, the grreen one, and I do like it. If you want to do a review I'd be interested to see it. 😊👍❤
Well done to you both for trusting your senses. If something don't feel right. It generally isn't. 😊

Yet another chilled out video, relaxing and funny. If you two were anymore chilled you would be horizontal 😊
Until your next adventure atb Taff 🤠👊👊
Great video
Thanks for posting.
...what is the name of the fly-tent again?
3F UL Shanjing 2 👌
@GarethZoeWildcamps ...looked liked quite a good setup 👍
Yeah we might use it again sometime, but with the tarp it came with. We took the DD tarp because it blends in well in the woods.
Always good to get out in nature.
Great set up guys! Are you heading to the bushcraft show this year? Be great to see ya's there
Gareth you need a usb fan with belt and top clip so it cools your back in summer wear it on waist or on your T-shirt collar
I'm not a fan of air mesh rucksacks personally...I find I end up with a cold sweaty back as opposed to a hot sweaty back 🤣

Hope everything is fine now x
Not especially, but life goes on.

You seem like lovely, real folks, Glad to have found your channel. Always wise to avoid those "widow makers" from above. Good solid advice.
Great to watch you guys..Great team and 5 ⭐️ for Zoe eye makeup always brings the “Glam”😆
Judging by the height of the fence it looks like it’s been put up to stop deer damaging the trees.
Another good one guys. Thanks for posting.
Cheers both enjoyed that!
Great video Guys, looking forward to seeing more. Liked and subscribed
I wish I had a lady who'd lovingly check for a sweaty back. Gareth's a lucky chap
Enjoyed the video great to see you back . Looking forward to the next one 😊😊.
Air makes you hungry, not a bad thing .
I find all your reviews interesting - go for it😄

Bloody farmers
Sorry jess, farmers feed the country, everything in balance. Love and light.

Is the path a public footpath? if so then the farmer is breaking the law you should report him to the relevant authority
Its a bit brazen but if the fence was put up illegally then wire cutters would solve that problem on the day
I love you guys, always a great video.
Intuition is key
Guys where did you get your camouflage coats from please.
They're the Snugpak SJ range, they come in all different temperature ratings from -15 up to 0c

Missed you guys x lovely video x
Nice one lol. 👍🤣🇬🇧
rather than bleating on you tube, this needs reporting to the rights of way officer of the local council.
No shit Sherlock!😏
Omg hes trying to keep the forest trolls in the forest!! Be careful in there they are flesh eaters !!
Maybe it was fenced off because of the danger….just a thought.
There's a public footpath both sides that's got no restrictions or signs. It was a deer fence. Poorly executed but hey ho.
awesome vid..loved it
Pack review please, tack
😎👍

Imagine crying about not being able to trespass anymore pfft
😂👌
Yeah like that'll happen! 😏
