Dual Motor A8 Promax 52v: bit.ly/4ecAEt3
(Affilate link, thank you!)
Had my A8 pro max 52v single motor for a month now with over 400 miles on it so far and loving it 👍
That's GREAT news!
Very impressive it made that hill being so heavy. Awesome long range bike!
It's an absolute unit. Will be doing a HUGE ride on this bike soon, split into three videos
Great job! Great review!
Not a review but thanks!
@@maximumchargeEV ....synopsis
This bike is insane, its quickly become the top contender for bike of the year!
Possibly!
Got this bike. Absolutely love it, no issues, took a bit long to come, but came and easy set up, battery wild 😝 love it
Great to hear!
I love mine. Ive had it about a month. Perfect for ripping around downtown seattle.
nice!
i have the a8 pro max single motor. i love it, it will take every hill in south mississippi
it's pretty quick for a single motor bike!
Hope you had a good time with Letric.
Hopefully in a couple of days I'll have my A8 Dual Motor running (ran into some tech issues with my Aniioki after assembly).
Looking forward to seeing your review, and potential future mods.
nice! What kind of mods do you want to do to yours?
@@maximumchargeEV , a saddle change to something wider, front and rear wireless turn signals, wider/longer pedals, and more reflector points / reflective tape as I primarily ride at night.
I already have a high-end front headlight, from Outbound Lighting, that I'm transfering from my old e-bike to the A8, so I'll get the kind of controlled road illumination I'm used to.
As for technical stuff, only time will tell :)
what's pedaling like, can the seat get high enough to get a decent leg extension by chance? thanks
you have to spread your legs apart a bit because of the frame width.
Giant brakes!
Yuge
First it's a very nice looking ebike and good power and speed but what I really like is having the distance as these bike paths are going for miles now!
Totally agree! Power + Range.
@@maximumchargeEV Can't wait to see the A9 tested and reviewed
Is that gun metal black? I can't find the shiny black
I think this is a semi shiny black.
Oh ok
Impressive ebike🤩
Sure is!
Need to buy one fo delivery work . No hill in my city . Apart from top speed ,are there any differences in range between A8 single motor and dual motor?
@@davidvasquez3564 Thank you 👍
130 lb. Heavy....but hill conqueror...is outstanding 🦵💪🚴♂️
Looking forward to trying it on full charge
Full? I think you meant on maximum charge 😏
Great information, thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Do you know if they will sell in Europe?
Not sure would check with customer service
Do a breakdown on it. Hear they now come with dual controllers and not the single controller that keeps having issues like mine.
I will for sure check out how the controllers are set up.
@maximumchargeEV they just sent me new controllers now they are dual front and rear. Only problem I have is my display doesn't have the 52v option only 48v and 60v. Which the battery will not read right. They are giving me a hard time about it.
My A9 is arriving Wednesday. It's coming with a free basket, mirrors, lock and saddle bags. The bike in this video isn't big enough for me.
Please update in the a9 quality etc.
Nice! Hope to see lots of photos and videos. Think you can post some videos on your channel?
@maximumchargeEV I don't have a channel, but I'll create one. 61 y/o man riding bad-ass bike. Thinking about getting an extra battery so I can make it from the western suburbs of Chicago to just north of grand rapids Michigan in one day.
@@matthewkurt2246 Not a bad option. Though adding another battery would add more weight for an already heavy bike. I think the better option is to get a J1772 to NEMA 5-15 or 5-20 adapter, which would let you charge at an EV charging station. Just make sure you charger(Ebike, phone charger etc) supports AC input of 200-240Volts.
Also, Aniioki sells an upgraded charger(52v 14amp). So 60ah(battery) / 14 Amp ≈ 4 hours to charge
I looking at the A9 myself because I have a wife if I get 1 I have to get another! So many new ebikes that I have a lot to think about. But so far looks like the A9 I will have to see some reviews.
I've been trying to buy this bike for months, but it's always 'out of stock'. I've sent numerous messages to Aniioke to check when it'll be back in stock, they never respond. Their loss, I'll go elsewhere 😣
I believe they are working on that.
All that battery & power and they made it look like a ridiculous folding e-bike 🤣
It will be interesting to see how it does on all the usual tests you put each E-bike through.
We'll see! It's like they build this bike around the battery. I think it looks cool, it looks like it has a magazine under the battery 😀
That’s what I thought. I wish they would make it look like an Eahora pro or the Meelod.
@@RidinRetired Eahora Pro is the better looking of the two 👍 but yeah, I agree.
Glad I'm not the only one who thought it looked like a folding ebike. There's no denying it has great specs but I do not like the look of it at all.
@@epiphoneguy8392 👍
you need to do full blown chopper on that thing. Extend the forks and new banana seat
I had this on order and paid for back in March/April . While waiting and waiting for it to be shipped, a LOT of bad reviews and comments about this bike , so I cancelled my order and got my refund. Went a different direction!!
Will let you know how it goes!
@@maximumchargeEV Yes I would like to hear your opinion !!
Just got mine. The only thing is i dont like the throttle handle
Do you prefer a quarter twist throttle?
@maximumchargeEV Yes, actually, it feels too flimsy and can have an accident if you're not super careful
i put a hoseclamp so i use my thumb on the throttle. but don't tighten the hoseclamp too tight.
No ape hangers... no no no
Yeeeeesss
@@maximumchargeEV ...🤦♂️
10/5....what the heck...inquiring minds want immediate gratification...
🤣
If it makes you feel better it's not a full review
@@maximumchargeEV ....no...but no choice but to wait....
Post it, do it for the vine. 😂 do it for the gram
I look at this bike and wonder who in their right mind would buy an AR Grizzly.
So true!
Real talk. I bought my Grizzly back in 2022 and at the time, it was the best ebike on the market. Now there's sooo many better options at either less price or relatively same price and with better features, performance and great accessories. I've really liked the innovation I've seen this past 2 years.
I have 13,400 miles on my Grizzly but in the next year or two, I'll be selling my Grizzly
@@omozeoyarebu4444 I hear that. I was looking at the X-Class two years ago for my first e-bike. It had barely any competition but was too expensive for me at $2,400. Now you can get WAY more at $1,900 in that class. AR knows this which is why they now sell the X-class for $1,700. The last two years has been great for the e-bike industry with so much competition.
I've been hearing alot of "Scamiokki" reviews about this on Facebook. Idk tho it just seems like a dope bike to me. I got a dual motor amyet s6 and it's got crazy range and good speed. I've never even gotta down to 50% on my rides.
This or the motor goat?
Not sure yet. I'll have to ride it around some more.
Well?
@@joho1325 i responded
Pretty sure this is the ultimate 20×4 ebike
Maybe!
It has everything except for safety ... not a high priority for its Chinese fly-by-night profiteers. A noticeable delay in the power & acceleration cutting off after releasing the throttle, with such a heavy bike that already has a lengthy stopping distance (due to its weight), is a huge red flag
The delay is small I promise you. It's barely noticeable but it's there. I'll talk more about it in the full review
