- Why is superman so much stronger than other kryptonians ?
This always get a lot of arguments, like I guess we have seen alot of kryptonians who were talked about in the comics and were mentioned or even main antagonist in the DC universe
kryptonians like kara, power girl, ursa, faora, doomsday, yeah!! i guess doomsday Is a feared opponent who as the abilities to take down superman and we could see in the Superman (vol 2) issue 75
and yeah!!!, general zod, which we could see in a combat
superman has a great advantage over other kryptonians
we have to start by acknowledge the fact that Clark's cellular structure has been absorbing, metabolizing, and storing the direct sunlight of earth's yellow sun practically since birth.

A case of nature and nurture.Nature: Yellow sun, and low gravity makes him strong, fly, energy eye beams. Nurture: innately human morality, love for humanity makes him fight that much harder.

There's only one true reason that you are all overlooking:
His cells are enhanced with every Kryptonians DNA who ever lived since they started collecting DNA on Krypton. Imagine Kal-El with the strength of Billions of General Zods. He also contains all their skills which is why he has so many powers.

Yes that's true but that's not the reason for his immense strength
sigh... because he grew up on earth with a yellow sun. the other Kryptonians did not, so they developed a bit differently without the effects caused by yellow sunlight. btw, sunlight can not be stored and metabolized. living bodies store and metabolize nutrients, including sugars, fats, proteins, vitamins, and minerals. light of any form can only be used to power or cause certain chemical reactions, such as photosynthesis in plants, where the sunlight basically causes electron displacements to cause certain chemicals to react with each other or break apart when they otherwise would not, or by turning cholesterol in our skin into vitamin D, again through electron displacement.

Yes it's directly connected to the fact that Superman has no upper limits to his strength. He draws as much power as he needs to win. Where does that strength come from? His DNA. That's where. Lol 😂

This fact that he's been absorbing yellow sunlight for longer than any other Kryptonian was mentioned in the late-70s/early-80s.
Many Kryptonians escaped from the Phantom Zone, and a woman used her rare psychic power to mentally thrust a psi blade through the other Zoners' chests, which incapacitated them. The only ones left standing was her and a Kryptonian no one recognized. That's because the unknown guy was Superman in disguise, who could resist because he'd been soaking up that good old sunshine his whole life.
In fact, at some point, kryptonite won't affect him anymore, as Luthor told other villains in the Kingdom Come miniseries.

Oh, man, this was back in the late-70s/early-80s, so I can't remember which issue. Unfortunately, I can't look it up in my comic books because that particular issue was one of many that I had in a storage unit, and thieves cleaned it out a few years ago.
I remember the Kryptonian criminals wondering who this guy was, standing around on the sidewalk, arms crossed, brown hair and mustache. Then when the woman (Faora? She was sent to the Phantom Zone for torturing and killing men) attacks them all, he was able to shrug it off. It was then that Superman ripped off his disguise to fight her.

Kara could have fought that woman. Kara knows 2 styles of Kryptonian martial arts, whereas Kal knows only one. The man hater knows only one style, different from those Kara knows, one that focuses on causing as much pain as possible in a fight.
The story you explained, looks like when jara was stuck in the phantom zone and everybody thought she was dead
add the fact he has often come across opponents, weapons and forces that have tested his mind and body to the limit. his solar powered body could well have adapted becoming stronger and more durable

The codex is just a genetic code of all their ancestors, which can be used to create more kryptonian and bring back the race

Superman strength is greater than the other kryptonians because he was naturally born and not a programmed birth which establish what children were suppose to be. In other words he was born without a limiter which was magnified his strength and other abilities as he grew under a yellow sun. I think, This is just my opinion.

Doomsday was created from genes of past kryptonians which makes him very strong, also see kara isn't an engineered machine and still can't take on Superman

I always had an idea from the Zack. Snyder cuts or such that Zach snyder's version of Superman or man of steel that remember his body was infused with the Coronavirus keptonian kodex. What if in addition to his years of being on earth and his years aside of practice with his powers, what if each and every one of the people on the? The code exists the various cortonians that were supposed to be born in the future of krypton. If it had lasted also amplified his power per person exponentially, and every time he has to push himself, he attains a new level of power codepia. Ucould that be a possible reason why he's also strong? One has years of being on earth 2 years of practicing with his powers. 3 the Kodak's 4 has indomitable spirits.
