I absolutely love purple chalcedony. It feels to be the most gentle of crown chakra crystals.
In working with the grape variety (and all stones with botryoidal formations) I personally like to do active meditations on the interconnectedness of all aspects of life.
In the sense of “there is no separation” and “ all parts make up a whole” I like to envision how the cells in my body are working together for homeostasis.
And also how all of life is working towards homeostasis.
When I view all the little bubbles I see the harmony of life appearing with grace and ease.
So I see why it’s great to put in place where there may disharmony or conflict to remind us of how we are all connected.
I pray with it in this way too. If there are parts of my life or self (or others) that are in disarray that the remembrance of Unity is AllWays here with us.
Grape Agate is a beautiful crystal for this, and I have many small pieces I have made jewelry with and also some larger pieces I personally work with in waking and for dream states and recall.

To be honest I don't have any great tips beyond if it is an irregular shape it is often more likely to be real. Regular shapes are often remelted glass. There are some other great videos on RUclips with tips.
