I like the first part (learning how to make it, kudos for that), but not cleaning well the excess of glue on the glass was a turn-off, and the decoration was actually hideous.

He had a sponge filter which is fine but no heater and he has angel fish and I doubt he dechlorinated the water so Im almost 100% sure those fish died within 10 hrs. If it was dechlorinated they'll freeze to death in 24 hrs. This guy should get a betta

The true size is 8,5 x 12 - 2 pcs,correct?!
I think same as you, the wide side of aquarium glass must be 8,5 inch x12 inch if using 0,5 inch thickness, if 9" x 12" it should pushing other side

Likely clear aquarium caulking (silicone caulking but doesnt have certain chemicals. Keeps it fish safe).
silicon sealant (glass) u can buy on amzon ,and u need to buy a gum for that
are you already diy your aquarium? mine use acetic silicone sealant..stronger adhesion than neutral one..proven satisfaction but you must rinse properly after the silicone dry.

its silicone, one of the strongest adhesive!
That tank in my opinion is good for only few small guppies
And even then only after the filter is cycled.
4 $ aquarium. Put a window in any foam container that fish and medicine is sent in. I just bought 2 for 5$ glass 3$ and silicon. No temp changes as the containers I found today are extra thick. Perfect for breeding.

You have critical error in the measures of the glass.
Never never ever put crystal over crystal or acrylic.
You had to cut 10 mm. More wide the lateral walls to put these in front of the frontal ,the back and bottom walls not above the bottom wall.

@@StormtroopaLego I don't talk about Angel you find it not expensive but in other countries for example in Morocco 200€ and we find it so expensive . but I agree with you about the conditions he should wait at least 30days to put his fishes and Angle fish live in warm water

I've never made an aquarium, but this doesn't seem to be right, especially for large volumes. I think constructing a big tank like this tutorial would be disastrous. All the vertical panes must be set on top of the horizontal one. He puts the last pane in front of it.
By using those colored heart stickers you turned the aquarium into a gay's aquarium
So your saying instead of spending 500 dollars on a massive tank, i can just spend about 50 dollars and have the same thing basically, aside from the fact that this will probably be more durable because i can have thick acrylic instead of thin glass? brilliant.

I noticed the lack of dechlotinater, filter, and correct stocking. Those fish are too big for that aquarium, and that's too many for a 10-15 gallon.
I agree you need a 20 gallon for angelfish I’m pretty sure. You would have to buy chemicals and let it set in for a day or two. Also packing 8 angel fish in a small tank is very bad. They would probably want to kill them self’s so I agree with you

This man did not just put heart stickers on it and make this aquarium look like a house. Tf were you thinking when you went to buy your decor and substrate? From the thumbnail I wanted to watch because thought you would make this a sleek type of planted aquarium like a bootleg ada setup. Oh how I was wrong....please anyone who watches this do nothing In this video....Btw please research what you can stock in your aquarium and read about the nitrogen cycle and planted tanks. That tank is no place for that many angel fish let alone one. Also, you should always test a diy aquarium if its you first or second time building one for leaks or other mishaps for at least one week. Finally, PLEASE RESEARCH FISH KEEPING! This man didn’t even acclimate the angels and just added them in right out of the bag.

Aquarium safe Silicone and only that. A glue gun would 100% not work
@@reesespieces8125 exactly people need use right silicone. I watched a lady use silicone from hardware store create a large starburst melted the candy but need food safe silicone 🤣. No one knows that different silicone for different purposes.

For anyone wondering what “glue” you should use. Silicone that is aquarium safe is the absolute best option.
Also the minimum tank size for an Angel fish is 30 gallons. To have 9 in this (for what I calculated) not even ten gallon tank is atrocious.
What king of tape. Is it just regular masking tape
georgettamorton masking tape or painters tape would work well. Neither of these will leave residue on the glass.

Horrible! Where do I even start? A cardboard top? To cover a container full of water? You realize cardboard is paper, right? And you need bioloical as well as mechanical filtration. You need to cycle the tank before adding in any living thing, test the aquarium for leaks and I surely hope that glass is thick enough to hold that much water or you will end up with a shattered DIY fish tank. You need a heater. You need to aclymate the fish before you add them. You should never add in the water in the bag to your tank. You should also never add in that many angle fish to that size tank which is only big enough for a few guppies or one male beta. And the decor? Really?
It's not cardboard. It's plastic corrugated board. Just shows you don't know what your talking about. Nothing wrong with this tank. It's a do-it-yourself project for your kids.

Not throw together a piece of crap tiny tank and throw in a shit ton of angle fish without even proper filtration! I'm sorry that you see this as proper way to fishkeep or teach children how to fishkeep! It is why we see so many damn betas in cups and tiny unfiltered vases! Misinformation! This *COULD BE* an ok tank to say keep a beta if it had proper filtration, a heater, and it has been tested for leaks and ensured that the glass is thick enough for that amount of water (which is heavy). But, as it is, it is not proper for any living being to be in! Esepcially that many angel fish! I suppose you are ok with that many angle fish in this size of a tank as well eh?

Hi... I have seen some people are using outer area of base glass to stick side glasses same as like in this video. But some others are putting all side glasses on the top of base glass by reducing the 2 side glasses width by glass thickness..

Está muy bueno el vídeo en cuanto a las manualidades...elaborar la urna, la tapa con la luz, ya empieza a preocupar es su falta de conocimiento de la vida que va a albergar en ese acuario, mete como 7 escalares, un filtro de esponja tal vez apto para un gambario, piedras pintadas, falta de hacer el ciclado del acuario, su manera de introducir los peces al acuario. En cuanto a habilidad manual un 10, conocimientos de acuariofilia un 0.

How 4&5 to be the same dimension of height similar to 2&3? I think of the glass is 6mm you need to reduce 6mm to glass 4&5 if not reduced the aquarium won't be correct in measurements because 4&5 the glass will be different. Sorry for poor English haaaaha

So much is wrong with this. So much is also wrong with some of the comments, although some comments are correct.
Starting with the movie production: It is unbelievably annoying the way he has to pick up and turn around all the parts to show them. It's obvious as to what they are and we don't need to study them from all angles. These are pieces of glass. These are more pieces of glass. These too, are pieces of glass. Duh, no shit?!
Stupid people: Take note of my proper use of the word 'angles' in the above paragraph. I see more than one of you are incapable of calling Angelfish Angels. They are not angles. The corners of the pieces of glass make angles.
The cover is obviously made of corrugated plastic, not cardboard.
The corner filter has some biological filtration along with mechanical, both owing to the sponge. Beneficial bacteria will colonize the sponge, albeit the biological aspect is marginal.
He MAY have filed it with pretreated, room temperature water as I would expect the sensitive Angelfish to flip out and die in minutes. I've seen an idiot do this by dumping them into cold water. Still, what kind of numbnuts dumps any fish directly into the tank like that?
I question his taste in "decor." Particularly the brightly colored rocks that look like jellybeans. I've never done drugs, but that tank looks like what I imagine a very bad acid trip might look like.

Very well built, but the setup and decoration is a crime against aquascaping. Poor angelfishes, without a single plant to feel a little at home, those colors, that ugly frog that came straight from 80's fish tanks. Substrate, filtration, my goodness those bubbles...
