I watched this at least 100 times. After watching almost every magician on youtube, still my favorite. Just the energy this guy has. Not to hyped like a lot of the newer magicians. Love his style!
I love his style, one of the real magical classical performers that made school. Its beautiful and just so elegant. Like Michael Vincent and a few other gentleman artists that just makes you focus on the beauty of it and not so much about how he does it. Because truly its not interesting. The interesting part is when a magician can amaze you and give you this feeling of astonishment, like also Shin Lim who is just such an artist
I absolutely love how calm and in control he is..."I don't care what you think"..."don't say anything..."...back when show hosts weren't so full of themselves....lol
What do you mean "exposing"?? It's just a false knot. Look at when he starts to tie it, there are a couple of moves. It is not a normal knot, everyone can see that!
Jake Barry I am not ruining it, I am helping some younger magic students appreciate how the effects are done. The only people who read these threads are magicians and students of magic.
Cigarette magic, how politically incorrect. Dosn't he know children may be watching and drawn into this despicavle underworld of smoking, then drinking and before you know it heroin...what that word they call it? Smack! Yes, thats the word. Lol Ye, I said LOL!!! I am probably one of the last magicians in the world who still practices and performs a cigarette act. I have one of the finest collections of cigarette magic gimmicks and books in the entire world...going back to the 1930's. It's impossible to find work with my skills, or even to write a book or make a DVD for the magic fraternity. I am an outcast, a nomad of a dying art. I don't smoke myself but I dearly LOVE magic with fire, smoke, liquor, cigarettes, all forms magic with an adult theme.
I was fortunate to have a master class with Slydini....15 people...Thnx to Dick Caveat for keeping him on TV for the newer generations.Genius.

True magic is in the way he communicates, reads and directs the audience.
Wow! I’m glad his work has been preserved. Very entertaining! 👏👏👏
One of the best to ever do it. So original ... oh so original.
I love that at one point things go wrong for him but he stills gets a classy way to get out of that tight spot.
One of my magic heroes.
Slydini, Cardini, Marlo, Dani Vernon those guys will always be the best and remembered forever!!!
The move at 11:05 is MASTERFUL. Not too many can do UPCLOSE like that to this day. AMAZING control and sleight of hand.

" The silk trick is the only one i dont wanna know" - What part of this you didn't understand ? Why exposing ?

How about that drum fill in the very beginning?
I saw him and began to be interested in coins.
Does anybody know the name of the song in 01:49?
Marca M para Magia - the song at 1:49 is "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes" , music by Jerome Kern and lyrics by Otto Harbach

The coins have an empty sound :)

Yeah, that was his specialty. You might catch it on a video but you'd never notice if you wee there in person because he was a master of misdirection.
Wow, so many pixels.

Can't tell what pixels he's disappearing and reappearing
12:50 you see him drop the coin
I don't get it. How is that done? Magic isn't real but this guy is super weird. Something is going on here.
his whole act is him basically just throwing shit on his lap

Anonymous User that is why they call him “Dick”
Wow, he puts his arm below the table. Not so impressed.
bman342a well magic has to be done someway at least he can do magic
bman342a go practice sleight of hand to this man's level, see if you're half as good as him after 20 years.
you mean after 100 years? because this level is just unbelieveble even more when you know what he is doing
Your ignorance is showing.
