Your first craft would be perfect for all of those old Halloween costumes that the kids can’t fit in anymore, oh my goodness could you make some cute ones and be able to remember all of their past costumes. My grown kids would love one of those.
The plunger pumpkin was brilliant. I might have added some leaves (or something) to the top to disguise, further, the plunger bottom but it still looks amazing as is.
This video certainly was fun and interesting. The plunger got me. I teally think it looked like an acorn. Everyones eyes sees differently. Mine see an acorn which by the way I thought came out nice. I have many of the rubber parts of plungers. I kept them hoping someday someone would come up with an idea. I like the acorn but would have used twine for the acorn bottom. Also need some kind of stem on top hole. Maybe some burlap oaks leaves as well.

All your crafts are cute I've made a acorn out of a paper mache Easter egg for the shape, nautical rope for the top and tiny pine cones for the body of the acorn

Hey Val. That plunger looks so much like those old farm implements pcs.they used them for candle holders. That would be great just as it is. You could get one of those rubber footballs that u could cut & shape for the bottom part of the acorn. Lol
Such a cute ghost! I think that your last craft would look more like an acorn if you glued more of the rope to itself at the bottom to give it more of an elongated shape. It is too round.❤
I love that little ghost! So cute! I have some tiny "tomato" cages from not reading the measurements correctly when ordering. We may be getting some cute ghosts. I would have to change out the knob on the pumpkin for a stem as well. On to the plunger. I think your idea is solid but using the nautical rope on the bottom was the problem. Just paint the pumpkin but use the nautical rope on the acorn cap for better scale and you will get a better proportined look. That idea was genius.
Great job on the different pumpkins!! For the acorn, I would get some thumbtacks and push them into the plunger. With overlapping them and being really close together, I think it would give the right texture look for an acorn top. Or if you have pine cones from a park, you could take them apart and hot glue them onto the plunger while overlapping them to give some authentic texture too.
Perhaps if you reversed the process, wrapped the plunger with rope, maybe the brown nautical rope instead of the white one and paint the pumpkin would make it look more like an acorn. The cap needs to sit over the pumpkin, instead of on it. I would make a stem out of the top of the plunger as well. The bottom seems a bit too round, maybe trim the bottom down a little to make it thinner and more pointed looking. Just my thoughts, like you, what l see in my head, in reality it might look a whole lot different and nothing like an acorn…lol Love your channel, your ghost was adorable! I think the flower pumpkin looks sort of like a Christmas kissing ball. But changing the knob to a pumpkin stem should bring about the desired effect. The plunger acorn does not work because the cap of an acorn should be wider than the bottom so it fits over it to look like a cap. Perhaps you need a smaller pumpkin. Even with those two imperfect items, you are so creative!
I do think if you didn’t put the rope on it which I totally think is cute for the candlestick but if you wanted to keep the acorn just keep the rope off, it did look like an acorn until you put the rope on.

I think a thinner rope would make the acorn better. The " cap" is too small for the nautical rope the ghost is the cutest thing 😊
When I make acorns I do a diamond pattern on the "cap".

I think for the acorn/ pumpkin, you could have shaved down the sides of the styrofoam to give it more of the acorn shape! Love to see you crafting!

What if with the acorn you wrapped the top part with dark twine. Then would it look more like a acorn.

That candle just makes the plunger look like a plunger 🪠. For it to look more like an acorn, the base needs to be smaller than the plunger.
