If you watch it again with the captions on, you will see the reason the judges are talking when they hear the music start. This is known to be a difficult song for vocalists. It takes a great vocal range and superb breath control. The vocalist must also convey the emotion behind the drunken confession of love while also saying this would not be said while sober. When I listen to Chen sing this, I can absolutely hear that he is "drunk" because of how parts of the song/melody have this kinda meandering quality.
