Hey Florida Travelers! What is the coolest animal you've ever hand fed? If you want a full overview of Busch Gardens, you'll have to check out my overview here: ruclips.net/video/dJJ3WgmlkHI/видео.html
It definitely does!! Took us a few trips to get everything in, and we didn't even cover everything! lol We have to go back and do a few more of the experiences...this giraffe one won me over!
Loved the video. Excellent job. Looks like Buch Garden is a must visit next time we come down. Love how close you can get to the animals. Keep up the great work.
Excellent video! If you have ever been on Kilamanjaro Safari at Animal Kingdom, how does this experience compare to that, beyond being able to feed animals at BG?
Hi FORTYfied Fitness & Strength! Thank you so much for watching! :) I have been on the Kilimanjaro Safari several times...and I love it! I would say that the experience is completely different...and I love them both equally for different reasons. You definitely have the opportunity to see more animals on KS, but the experience on the Serengeti Safari feels a lot more intimate because the group is much, much smaller..and it feels more like going behind the scenes versus the more structured ride experience you have with KS.
This looks amazing!! Huge fan of giraffes so I'll definitely have to book this for when I next go. Did you get to pet the animals at all or were you asked not to?
It is such an amazing experience! I love giraffes too! You should definitely do it if you love giraffes! They do ask that you not pet the animals, but I don't think that it takes away from the experience at all. They all get really close to you!
Hi Chantel McAllister! To be honest, I can't remember the exact time slot - but it was definitely in the morning just before noon. So, maybe around 11 or 12?
What time do you recommend doing the safari? I’ll be coming in September so I guess I don’t want to pick a time when the afternoon downpours happen? I was thinking of just going with the first 12pm option. It’s already going to be hot and I don’t see any disadvantage. What are your thoughts?
Hi Chipoid86d I! Thank you so much for watching! :) If noon is the earliest slot you can get... I think you would be safer with a noon slot. The afternoon showers don't typically start until 2-3 p.m. It'll definitely be hot regardless. We went around noon for our trip and we were there in September too!
@@ChrissaTravels You mean you did the safari at noon in September or you arrived at the park at noon? If you did the safari at noon was the weather just too hot in the open air vehicle or was it a pleasant experience? Does Busch close its coasters during the storms? I see there’s a lot of downtime for them in September but maybe this is because the park is no quiet that they’re not constantly running. God knows. Sorry no more questions after this. Thank you. Edit - I’m praying it’s 5 min waits for everything including Iron Gwazi.
@@chipoid86di46 We actually did the safari around noon. I believe we was the 12:15 group to be exact. It was hot, but the breeze from the ride made it tolerable. I highly suggest hydrating before, though. They offer water while you wait…and I recommend it before you head out. If there is lightening, I believe Busch gardens will typically shut down the rides for safely. But will start them back up once everything clears. The park is a bit quieter in September since all the kids are back in school. The weekends are bit more busy because we locals will head out there…but if you’re there during the week, the lines shouldn’t be too bad. If they are, you can always get a quick queue at one of the kiosks or at customer service once you get there. We sometimes get the one that gives you 1 ride on each of the popular attractions and it’s worth it if you only have a day in the park and don’t want to wait in line. I hope that’s helps! And don’t worry about all the questions! I’m happy to help!
I have done this safari multiple times. The earlier the better, generally the early slots tend to be less full and the Giraffes are more excited than later in the day.
Hi My Cup Runneth Over! Thank you so much for watching! :) It depends on the time of year that you go, but it can range anywhere from $34.99 to $69.99 depending on the day that you go. There is a discount for Busch Gardens annual passholders if you have one.

The giraffes can touch you and they will. Unfortunately you can not pet or initiate the contact.
When you went on the tour, what time slot did you choose?

Yes, it definitely is! ☺️

I wish all zoos were safari style. It’s much more humane to keep the animals in large fields where they can roam and interact with other animals.
I didn’t know this wasn’t included. That stinks.
