I have had mine for about a year and a half. It is a phenomenal pedal worth twice as much as it costs. I copy and paste the same patch across the entire bank. That way, the 1-4 buttons act like "scenes." Then, with a single press of a button I can turn on or off several effects without any "gap" in the signal. Feel free to ask any questions and I will try to answer them for you.
@d.j.linhart935 whatever patch you want to copy, hit save twice, then your first knob under the screen scroll to whatever number you want to save the patch to.
My high gain side I did added the noise suppressor. Someone on the channel suggested it, it was perfect. The lower or mid gain side I don’t put a gate or suppressor, when playing lower volumes it can start to cut the sound.
Sling a noise suppressor in there and your noise issues will go away. Get the threshold right and it won't kick in on the quiet parts and ruin dynamic playing. The suppressor on the GX-100 is really good, you might say it's Boss ;)
Thank you for you explanation , its very practical and easy to understand. I also use one in church. could you please show your settings for the chorus pedal?

@@Daddybell6957 hi, yes. Happy I could help. With mic positions, don’t be afraid to play with it, the Sag, etc. It’s a great pedal, and very underrated.
Why don’t you simply put a noise gate infront of the amp on OD channel. I finally got the tone figured on mine after a year of going back and forth my analog rig. The global eq is what helps with the mix when playing live and finally got this figured out now.
I try to avoid noise gates, because I tend to play quiet passages at times. I don’t want it kicking in while I play, but the noise I experience is not an issue when playing live. It is a good idea for my high gain side, same as a real amp.
@@peted450if you put the gate on threshold 30 and release 30, it doesn't effect the quiet passages but it stops the extra noise. You just have to adjust it so it works like you want. It would clean up your sound a lot.
Im looking at this, me-90 or the line 6 pod go... i will be using it mainly for pedal.... i will be plugging it into a deluxe reverb tone master.. what would you think would work for what i am wanting to use it for ? And if it is the gx 100 what makes it better than the 90 or pod go.. thanks in advance
@@Daddybell6957the Pod Go is limited in it’s functionality and the me-90 is probably better for effects. The Gx100 is both for Amp Sim and effects and functionality, I don’t use amps for my live setup. The gx100 is great for all this.
me-90 is limited in fx-blocks too, not like the gx100 you can put 15 something effects in any order, and 8 i think with the pod go. The gx is a no brainer
Hey, thank you, I’m not a fan of noise suppression, especially for medium gain sounds. My office tends to be a little noisier even when using my independent pedals into my amp. Live there is very noise, but you could use a noise suppressor. But, you make a good point, I could set that up for my high gain stuff.
The noise supressor built into the GX100 works well... I put it after the amp and it cleans up use of the OD1 or tube screamer really nicely. Worth experimenting with at least.
Hi, nice video, one question: does the GX 100 have the guitarsimulator from the gt10 where you can set humbucker to singlecoil? Could not find anything about that
Hi! My c2 button switches to pedalboard mode when held for a long time. In tuner mode with a short press. You have it the other way around. Where are the settings of this button. I want the pedalboard mode to turn on with a short press of the c2 button, just like it works for you.
Hello, ok this is how… Pick channel you to make change, I do this to all my channels First: select CTL/EXP Next: select CONTROL FUNCTION under CTL 2( or wherever your tuner is) should be knob number 4 and rotate so it reads MAN/TUNER not TUNER/MAN. Exit it out and you should be all set.
Thanks for doing this - brought some more clarity to my GX 100!
