I THINK I CAN ADD ARCH ENEMY TO MY MOUNT RUSHMORE OF FAVORITE BANDS. As an old school hard rocker I normally don't groove the scream type vocals BUT THIS REALLY WORKS. The music is just everything metal is all about, the musicianship is awesome and high level. The stage presence and setting outstanding. The songs all blockbusters. And this babe doing the vocals is outstanding. IS THIS THE WONDER WOMAN OF METAL? tHE WHOLE BAND AND THE WHOLE THING un freakin believeable.I dont care what rock mindset you come from old school Sabbath/Deep Purple or Marilyn Manson/Gorgoroth or tech profficient Yngvie/Steve Vai or a steel edged Iron Maide/Priest/ Accept everyone can find something in this band. BEST OF ALL THEYRE COMING TO MY TOWN DES MOINES IN OCTOBER. I'll be the first one in line.
Melodic death metal. People shit on her a lot but she has the perfect voice for melodic death metal if you ask me. The previos singer- not so much for MELODIC death metal.
Amigo, tengo 60 años y he escuchado más música de la que puedo explicar. Cómo dices, yo también vengo de la vieja escuela, mi podio es Led Zappelin, Pink Floyd & Rush, pero este género merece la misma consideración. Arranqué x After Forever, pasando x Nightwish, Epica, Xandria, Avantasia..., Y por otro lado esos monstruos llamados Drean Theater, aunque la voz es un lastre para mí gusto. Conocía esta banda pero me pasaba lo mismo con las voces guturales, es más, la primera vez llegué a creer que era un tipo disfrazado el que cantaba. Después supe que el gutural es una técnica, y solo puede desplegarla quien sabe cantar muy bien. Alissa es x si misma, una aplanadora. Arch Enemy, a pesar de sus músicos increíbles, no sería lo mismo sin ella. Ni siquiera Floor Jansen arenga un estadio completo y los domina como si fueran un kinder. Hoy en día, está banda, junto a Dimmu Borgir (si no los conoces, te van a sorprender, es otra cosa) son mis bandas favoritas, a pesar de otras excelentes bandas. Por último, cómo venimos de la misma generación y nombraste a Vai, si no lo conoces, te sugiero que te des una vuelta x el canal de Takyoshi Ohmura. Un placer la oportunidad del diálogo. 👍💪
@@rodrigomiranda9698 While I agree that Jeff Loomis is a very talented guitar player, I think Micheal Amott`s brother, Christopher A. was WAAY tighter in his manner of playing. Most of the time that Christopher Amott was with them was when they had Angela Gossow singing, but check out the "We will rise" offcial video and u will see what I mean since he`s on that video and don`t get me wrong, am not understating Jeff`s talent and technicality but I think Christopher`s talent was way superior.
it is given that alissa is pretty ..but she got that "woaaa i'm inlove" factor 😅 in each and every live concert of them that i've watched ,she always has that
