- Let's start getting a little more systematic with escape patch ideas.
Let’s start with an assumption, let’s say a hypothesis actually, that this is a subterranean place, a “netherworld.”
Let’s make a new escape patch. Let’s base it on the idea of “going up and down.”

Maybe my fave patch to date. That fun sample and hold opens into a garden of delights. Excellent stuff. 2 maths and 2 woggles. Big fan
I've rewatched this a few times now, and I must say the production level on all fronts is just utter superb... Thanks to all the who work to/at Make Noise!!!!!
This is a beautiful patch. And also, even after all these years, I still find it wonderful to be able to watch people perform like you do on the other side of our planet. It may sound naive (Yes I know it's youtube and the internet) but being able to share our ideas and performances and hear and feel the music that has been created thousands of kilometers away is always magical. So again thanks for playing and sharing and creating such great instruments!
An object lesson in using a few simple elements that interact with each other creating something that is much more than the sum of its parts. Beautiful.

This cycle of videos reminds me of Aphyr’s “code witch does a job interview” articles - deep, hard-won knowledge transmitted playfully and with a cute narrative hook to give the proceedings a direction and an arc. Delightful, many thanks for the lessons.

No Walker, don't do it! Don't step into the flashes of color. Stay in the black & white nether world a while longer. Your patches there are so incredibly good!
But when you eventually do make it out, can we celebrate your return with a release of these tracks? I'd buy that EP/ album immediately.

up n down is round n round, within Make Noise patches let my weary head drown. make René the pole and Maths the wreath, while QPas children dance beneath. fwd n backwd within without, that Walker patches in xtra dimensions we have little doubt. push n pull compress expand these MN vids make brains expand 👍
