They wouldnt have lasted as is. The deck has no built-in monster negation so they cant deal with interruption in the middle of their board building (provided the opponent knows the cards)
the new master rule didn't kill them . . . they had locals success with full combo plays right when MR4 started & had OCG tops too, they just really weren't that good, by the time Zoo format ended Dinosaurs, Invoked, True Draco, World Chalice & Pendulum Magician were just better than them & even Zefra & Metalfoe were completely outperforming them.

The structure deck released 2 weeks before Raging Tempest, which is what the Zoodiacs were released in, so they had to contend with that train wreck of an archetype, and... well, history shows how well that turned out.

Mind crush and battle fader. man those cards take me back. Mind crush was the first card I ever used the counter searching. And I always had a battle fader in my hand when my opponent wanted to All In.
That Sloth can be useful to lock people out of their extra deck. I use it to summon off of Spheres in matches where they need to summon from extra and have a hard time removing a monster from the board. I find that it functions a lot like Scythe in most match ups. One guy I played I bounced his normal summon and brought out Sloth with Seal, and he just scooped. I tend to side it instead of Aether when going first against certain decks, like Orcust, Thunder, or to a lesser extent Striker. I also still think that the Powercode Link + Gates to the Underworld + Legendary Hero Decks would be an insane $40 week to add some power cards to the deck. 2 Veiler, the third twin twister, the third allure, LANphorhyncus, and Eradicator are all insane, along with some nice options of Forbidden Chalice (which would give spell counters and functions as a budget infinite impermanence in that it plays around cards like Dark Ruler No More and Azathot) along with MST and Dark Hole in case you need some more niche options. I guess since you don't side Raigeki you wouldn't side Dark Hole, but I think MST would be kinda neat cuz it doesn't require a discard. Another thing to consider is, if you don't need the third Allure, that slot could go towards: Soulburner (for a kaiju and Ash, obviously), Link Strike (for the third Veiler and Link Spider to get rid of the Nibiru Token and use it for maybe link plays for cards that need effect monsters), or a special edition if you want to add some variance to what you could pull.

I have no real place to do competitive yugioh local to me but I have been building myself a deck and even before seeing this series it was all cards from sealed products and I think after watching this series so far I think I want to keep it that way and evolve my deck over time by only sealed product. Also as a collector cards I may not use are still nice to get to add to my binder.

You have a card in the pendulum domination structure deck called d/d/d supreme king kaiser. It's good for going second cause when you pendulum summon it, it negates all face up cards on the field.
Bro i love this series, im an extremely budget player cause poverty sucks haha my deck list is pretty much identical to yours with a few upgrades because i have an amazing friend who is awesome at the game when you get elpy next week man you're gonna see such an insane difference hold onto that amorphage sloth though when you set up your whole board and then tribute off hieratic next turn bring out sloth instead of aether it locks them out of extra deck at least til they destroy it but by that time your negates should pretty much shut down their whole turn
You should switch to a Mekk Knight or Crusadia deck once you top a YCS with your Endymions. You already have a good portion of the decks, and then you’d have a second sealed journey also.
it'd be cool to see you take on the same 40$ a week challenge except doing only singles and trades. no sealed packs. that would be really interesting for people that prefer to play that way
Put in set rotation and a second Endymion field spell. I've been leaving my opponents with the spellcaster field spell so they're a little stuck unless they're playing Endymion as well haha
Banlists are actually stupid, they can't create balanced cards so they ban them before they release an entire archetype even more powerful then unban the banned card while all the slightly older cards become useless and you're forced to buy new cards. It's absolutely the worst thing ever and also why Yugioh is dying.
