My Dad was a trendy London banker in the 80s and his friend recorded all the PSB albums for me on DAT. My parents divorced and I moved with my Mum many miles away. I really missed my Dad and played the recordings until they wore out, literally. This remix has to be the best Pets remix by far. It makes me feel really old listening to this but very nostalgic... The Pets were ahead of their time
Ahh buddy I cracked a tear , reading your words. Had a similar situation and bond with my dad with the PSBS , he was unemployed in Britain around 1988 and after 9 months going to college at 41 years of age became top chef and a hotel in dundee scotland. while in the kitchen beginning his new job a bus boy that does dishes etc had the " Actually " album cranked in the kitchen of the hotel. My old man come home and says son do you know these tracks like S.H.O.P.P.I.N.G. and Kings Cross and It couldnt happen here I said yes my man me and my mates on the streets cant stop playing it . haha

a really wonderful song and mix, one of the best artists in the business Pet Shop Boys and Shep Pettibone, who also did a lot of work with Madonna for those who did not know. Wish this song gained more sucess really is a timeless piece. Only sucess was in New Zealand reached #5 and number one in the US dance charts.
