    if I could pick a time to travel back to it would be around 1840 on the Feather or American rivers(without being killed or eaten) so that I could see first hand just what those virgin streams looked like with gold in them! Nice video.

This is my first time seeing someone snipe, idk what the laws are on that, looks freezing.

    • @inshanity84
      @inshanity84  6 лет назад

      Chris Harris its all realative. Using this technique, in this highly picked over area its a lot of gold. For people more familiar with the circumstances understand this. I could work my normal job and make 5 times this in a day, but thats not the point.

    • @Donald_Turnip
      @Donald_Turnip 6 лет назад

      Dude. I'm working my way up a local dry creek bed that nobody in the world seems to have seen due to the larger river like fifty feet beside it. If I could dig the fucker(as in having any claim to it other than the province I live in owning the land letting me dig ten or twenty feet down) I'd be taking a hundred ounces a day out of it, no word of a lie. As it is, digging shovel fulls into a hand made sorter(I went down twenty feet before hitting clay), I take two and a half ounces in a decent weekend. The creek is about ten miles long before it meanders into a town. I even dug the part of the creekbed in town I could get at and its full of gold too so I have NO idea why in the hell this pay creek from heaven exists. The area isn't known for gold so I guess nobody even checked. Me I was just screwing around and found two nuggets one weekend before getting a serious about it as I could without attracting people. LOL.
      Anyways, I'm not trying to brag, I'm just trying to understand why that kind of gold is more than a...curiosity to vacationers that want to actually see what real gold is. (the north is full of them...come dig our claim and getcher self some trace gold for $50 or $100 or something).
      Again, not trying to put you down but that's a LOT of work for that.
