Sorry you didn’t get the info you need Joe. As I’ve reviewed plenty of rangefinders on the channel, I don’t m dive too deep into how they work, otherwise my videos would be even longer. Cycling through the 4 modes of done with one button, and it’s pretty straight forward to use once you have it in hand 👍
Nice review! I’d be interested to see a comparison of a smartphone golf GPS app, like Golf Pad (which is about $20/year), and how it stacks up against these or some of the premium GPS/range finders
Thanks for the support Ryan :) Good idea, will try to film it :) I have a rangefinder vs GPS watch video, and to be honest this rangefinder works just as well as that one - ruclips.net/video/V6Jqk0HABIY/видео.html
I’ve always thought about getting a laser range finder. I use a GPS watch now which I’ve had for years. It still works incredibly well, but lacks some features I find myself missing such as distances to hazards. Having never used a laser, would it actually be able to give me a distance to a water hazard or bunker? Or are they tuned primarily to pick up flags?
Thanks for watching Rob. Personally I still prefer a good gps 👍 you can normal get the distance to things like bunkers or points on the course - the system works by the laser hitting the object and then bouncing back, so I’ve found they can be a little temperamental if the ground is wet, but if you’re targeting a solid object you’ll be fine. There’s also a scan mode which just updates the yardage are you move around 👍
Just bought one, does what I need it to do and didn't break the bank, win win.
Thanks for watching 👍 as you say, does what it needs to for a good price 👍
It’s great value and not had a problem since Summer.
Thanks for watching Chris, glad it's holding up well :)
Good video! Cheers!
just wish they would take you through and explain each of the 4 modes-forget about the packaging. How does it actually work for the non tekkes
