I bought one and sold my Bushnell XE. This Range Finder is legit!!! And now I have 300 dollars back. Paid 500 for Bushnell XE sold for 400 bought this for 80. Solid!!
So I actually bought this ACEGMET rangefinder and it worked way better than expected. It gave me the same exact readings as my golfing buddy's $500 Bushnell. That said, the only issue I had with it is that you can't turn the slope off. Which is required in order to use your range finder during tournaments, so I decided to spend the extra $50 on the higher ACEGMET model.
Nice putt indeed. I already purchased and then viewed the review after the fact. Bought it to give a gift, but was in two minds if its good or not and wanted to check the review. Glad it was a good purchase !
Thanks to your review I bought the rangefinder. I find it annoying that every time I use it, it changes from yards to meters, so I have to wait till it turns off to change the units of measurement. It's that normal or what am I doing wrong?
I BOUGHT The other better version and it is as fast as the Bushnell. Yellow and gray..... Fantastic i got the name for you Acegemet.....the battery it came with cR2 was dead...lol mine is 1100 yards... and it has a shaky hands help....
Overall good and seemingly honest review. It is worth noting that slope cannot be turned off for tournament play so not legal if you want to play in tournaments. This is according to Amazon Q&A.
Thanks for checking the video out. I don’t have the unit to confirm but someone else also mentioned the slope could not be turned off so you are probably right.
I think for those of us who have never owned a rangefinder, it would have been nice had you given a brief 'how to use'. It should be mentioned in an honest review, that this product has possibly the worst written manual that I have EVER read in my life. It was obviously written by someone who is not fluent in English and for that reason, I have not been able to figure out exactly how this thing works. Granted, it's December and it's cold and I have never used one before but I took it into my front yard and tried to lock on to a metal fence post 4 houses down the street but couldn't get it to do anything except turn on and off lol.
That case is the same one as the MILESEEY on Amazon just a different logo on it. The MILESEEY looks to have the same focus ring it's $99. I wouldn't be surprised if all these cheap rangefinders use the same internals just different shells. IMO these cheap range finders are just as good as the big name brands. I don't see the point in spending a lot of money unless you're getting one with antishake or buying something like the Garmin Approach. Now that one I could see spending money on. Nice review
My son and both bought this rangefinder for our upcoming tournaments this year. But sadly discovered you cannot use this one in tournaments because the slope function does not switch off. 🤔😞😞
@@LetsPlayThru Thanks for your quick response! However, I found the amazon link and read in the Q&A that this is not possible. The answer to the question here comes from Acegmet themselves, so I guess you cant. Rather unfortunate cuz its a fine looking rangefinder. Cherio
That range finder looks really good! Wow under $100 for this! I actually prefer the usb charger. I bring an external batter with me plus the carts usually have one. Whats the deal with all these electronics without including the bricks? I think I'm going to stock up on them and sell them for a premium. Great range finder though, like the case and the lock on vibration. Oh yeah and that big blue button! The course looks a little damp. Nice putt!
It was NOT the first putt? ....I was right there with you,..even agreed if you made the putt etc...i was going to subscribe,..still would have BUT when you said "I PROMISE YOU, that was the first put!! " and the golf carts behind you disappeared and the ball placement was off- actually closer and off line a bit..Just couldn't do it..LOL>.Does look like a decent range finder,..does it lock on quickly though??
Believe it or not, it was. I'm not that good of an actor. This video was shot two years ago and I forget the exact circumstances but likely I marked it and replaced it. I remember draining that one and being pretty pumped I pulled it off. To answer you question though, yes it's fairly snappy. Not the fastest I've ever tried, but def not slow.

It's value packed for sure. Congrats
Got this about a month ago and very happy with it. Great value for the money. Thanks for your review.

Awesome glad you found one that worked for you and saved a few bucks
@@LetsPlayThru Do they really have someone checking range finders to see if the slope feature is turned off during tournaments?

It’s def a good one
Thank you for the review. With a limited budget, this review helps me to purchase this Acegmet Q9
Yes it’s true, no need to spend an arm and a leg, great value here

That never happened to me, I’d def recommend contacting them to see what’s up / get a replacement

You won I’m a subscriber! There’s a brand new Release 2022 Acegmet pf2c would like to see a review on it.
Just bought this rangefinder. This video made me feel so much better about the purchase.
Awesome, happy it helped. Enjoy
Just got my range finder today. Excited to play it, but I wondering how I know when it's charged?

Yes if it works it works. No need to spend big bucks
Nice putt and great info! Looking to finally pull the trigger on one of these range finders.
Thank you

Just bought this range finder (my first) and am very happy with it as an entry range finder. Question, what second button is he talking about?
Range finder was very good But the way you played that hole was Great !
Wait til you see the rest of the round!
One question, can you switch off the slope calculation? I read that this is not allowed on tournaments.. Great review!! thx
Yes there are different modes and you can just switch to the mode without it easily

Interesting I will have to double check that
Looks like a quality rangefinder, would definitely consider purchasing.
For the price its hard to beat for sure

@@LetsPlayThru Are you playing with me?
Nope it’s legit. You win for being first comment
@@LetsPlayThru
YES!!!!!!!! Thank you Gabe! This will be my first range finder! Can't wait to put it to use! You just made my day!
@@ChiliDippaGolf Sweet! Poppin' that rangefinder cherry! It's going to shave a couple strokes off I predict.
I like budget products, this would definitely be for me!!! Thanks for the review
Yes we don’t always have to break the bank to get some thing that works well. I was really surprised at the price of this one.
Compared too the mileseye?
Do any of the rangefinders work to display measurements in feet instead of yards?
I haven’t come across one that does to be honest
Does it locks into objects
Appreciate the metres shout out 😂
That was literally for your enjoyment
Lets Play Thru Golf Travel Show 😂🤣😂 well it worked!
Carbiner ?
The single most important piece of instruction: how to turn slope OFF so it’s legal to use. How is that done?
This rangefinder only has a slope mode, there's no non-slope mode.
Great video... worked great... but it broke in a month 😕
No .... just stopped working ... no display... and there was no icon saying it was low on battery
It was under a month so I sent it back thru Amazon
