It's interesting to see this video years later in terms of how her career has evolved along with her music. There aren't many singer/songwriters who have debuted in the 90's and remain relevant due to a loyal fan base. Fiona's also had success on the Billboard charts; her last 3 albums all debuted in the top 10 of the Billboard 200. And she's always on the Grammy's radar as well. These business and career "metrics" aren't of interest to her, but it's all the more interesting given the degree to which most artists have to promote their projects incessantly in order to obtain even a fraction of her success. Not to mention the fact that she's relied on her own instincts, which often run counter to that of her label.

sheesh, 8 years ago, imagine someone sees my message 8 years from now and wonder what kind of idiot says "sheesh". Back to what I wanted to say, I would've liked more personal questions, those were some pretty generic ones.
The thing I have always admired about Fiona is her honesty.
fiona always strikes me as being of particularly brilliant mind
She definitely has an IQ north of 130.
x Kon offtop.com: I bought when the pawn 3 times already. For some reason I keep losing it.

very self aware person, great quality
I love Fiona. Actually met her in California.
15 minutes? Where are the other 12?
Really good point haha!
but was just 3 minutes
She listened to Kate Bush?! AMAAAZING
Why? I think my ears are too old to hear KB right. Pitch becomes obscure in the high notes.
She shouldn't be embarrassed about not knowing anyone at the grammys -- she's not missing anything.
Her music influences really exemplified her first 3 albums
How would you say you can see John Lennon's influence on her?

Thank you for posting this vid, hadn't seen it before!
The questions were a bit boring though, I bet MTV had something to do with that.

For what she said about the grammys, after february of 2006...
I wish that I could interview E from Eels... but I doubt he'd ever agree to it. :(
