I love having that one kind of emotional attachment to my pokemon, the kind that you think "If I was at Mcdonalds, what would my favorite buddy want?" and then just realizing that they'd simply want to be there with you is enough for them is heartwarming... my old Typhlosion from my first game of HGSS was such a great lad and I loved him every step of the way, mans absolutely dominated the entire game for me w/ high power Eruptions at the end.. I love my garchomp. Its been almost 15 years, but she always was and always will be the ace of my greatest team. She was my first shiny. And frankly, leaving her on that old game card feels like a minecraft wolf situation. But I'm too scared that she'll get lost in translation if I try to bring her forward
Oooh man trust me I get it. It was the same for me and my Staraptor. Oddly enough it was the best on the team
I beat Pokemon Ultra Sun in about a year, and one of my best pokemon was an event zygarde who managed to pull me through extremely difficult situations, even when it was too high a level for me to use. I find it ironic my other event pokemon, Yveltal despite being of lower level, has more hp than my designated tank. And yveltal is the troll pokemon I have that just takes a beating, then heals it the next turn.
I had an aggron and gardevior duo that could take on even the toughest situations by themselves, they were amazing. I wish I still had them

@@redflame300 Yeah, there's a time and a place for certain things. For example, if you're at your job, it's okay to be a bit of a jokester, but for the most part, you need to be as professional as possible.
Just because your an adult doesn't mean you have to change complelety your still yourself no matter what.
Reminds me of my friend's Tibetan Mastiff. She may be able to absolutely maul a grown man to death but she's more likely to suffocate you under her mountain of fuzz when she wants cuddles.
Still remember when I got too drunk one night and ended up feeling rather sick. I eventually was able to pass out and she grabbed my by hoodie, dragged me over to her bed, and curled up around me while I slept (I was 6'3", 185lbs at the time).

@@superrupee Yup ^-^ Though to this day whenever I come over I get "mauled" by Jess and now by her pups as well. I may be 6'3, 180lbs but that doesn't mean anything against the horde of fuzz!

This so cute, and if you think about it, if Trainer caught Garchomp when she was a Gibble, all the training and adventuring made her evolve. So while physically Garchomp looks like an adult, mentally she's still a little kid. But she has to act like an adult to save face, but she still loves cute things.
Just a random thought I came up with when watching this adorable vid.
This makes so much sense.
You're taking a process that could take years in the wild and potentially doing it in weeks.
We assume evolution includes mental maturity, but that's not necessarily true.
