El CUARTETO (originalmente tocada con 4 instrumentos piano, contrabajo, acordeon y violin) y surge de la mezcla del "paso doble" y la "tarantela". En sus comienzos a finales de los 60. Luego en los 90 se añadieron instrumentos de percucion y viento y se mezclo mas con el merengue la cumbia. Rodrigo murio ese año tragicamente en un accidente automovilistico y fue quien popularizo el cuartero en Buenos Aires. Esas grabaciones en Shorts fueron hechas en el estadio Luna Park (emblematico lugar de foxeo en Bs As). Fueron 13 noches a estadio completo. Hola franck. Soy de Cordoba lugar de donde es original este ritmo. El CUARTETO (originalmente tocada con 4 instrumentos piano, contrabajo, acordeon y violin) y surge de la mezcla del "paso doble" y la "tarantela". En sus comienzos a finales de los 60. Luego en los 90 se añadieron instrumentos de percucion y viento y se mezclo mas con el merengue la cumbia. Rodrigo murio ese año tragicamente en un accidente automovilistico y fue quien popularizo el cuartero en Buenos Aires. Esas grabaciones en Shorts fueron hechas en el estadio Luna Park (emblematico lugar de foxeo en Bs As). Fueron 13 noches a estadio completo. El Cuartero es muy popular en Cordoba y antes de la pandemia todos los fines de semana miles de personas asisten a bailar a clubes donde tocan bandas de cuarteto. Saludos y si quieres escuchar mas cuarteto en sus origenes estaba "Cuarteto Leo" y "Cuartero de oro" orquesta en la que comenzo cantando el mas representativo de la musica de cuarteto que es "LA MONA JIMENEZ"

We went to war against England, we lost a lot of people in combat and they took the island. Imagine the pressure the players felt, and the huge deep pain. this music genre called cuarteto - believe it or not - it was in its early roots derived from tarantella s that people of small towns in the province of Córdoba used to dance. The band usually had four members, hence the name.
El cuarteto nació en Córdoba hacia 1950 entre los obreros (albañiles, gente de la construcción principalmente) su base surge principalmente del pasodoble español, con algo de tarantela italiana, pero sobre los años 80 se le fueron agregando ritmos latinos de América como ser el candombe, la rumba y el merengue.

loved this! My son name is Diego (I am Chilean, very common name here), and he was born in Canada. Everytime I told someone his name, I was like "his name is Diego..." and they were "uh? how is that spell"...and I was "Diego, like Diego Maradona, you know?" and they were "um...who is that?". WHAT?! jajajaj. I kep forgeting that soccer is not a thing in Canada. They did know Diego Rivera, because of the movie Frida, so I started using that one for reference lol

A partida entre a Argentina contra a Inglaterra na copa de 86 foi muito especial para o povo argentino, pois era a primeira vez que as duas seleções se encontravam após o término da Guerra das Malvinas. O Maradona simplesmente brilhou nesse dia e foi como uma espécie de revanche, mas no futebol.
Quanto ao cantor, Rodrigo, infelizmente ele morreu em 2000 vítima de um acidente automobilístico perto de La Plata, na região metropolitana de Buenos Aires.

rodrigo esta vestido asi porque el recital fue realizado en el "luna park", un afiteatro clasico de buenos aires donde se celebran tipicamente las peleas de box mas famosas. El realizó alli un record de 13 veces consecutivas show a estadio completo.
