After taking just a 7 point lead into the halftime locker room, Clemson exploded in the second half to take a big 66-17 home victory. QB Cade Klubnik recovered from an early fumble and interception to go 28-37 for 315 yards and 4 touchdowns. Beaux Collins had 7 catches for 137 yards and a touchdown on the afternoon, and the Clemson defense was stout, allowing just 73 total yards of offense for the Buccaneers.

It took Trevor Lawrence 6 games as a starter for him to accumulate in total as many rushing yards as Klubnik ran in his first season game as a starter. It took Trevor 3 games to reach in total as many passing yards as Klubnik achieved in only two games. Trevor had 10 TDs after six games. Cade has 5 in only two. In six games Trevor completed 108 of 163 passes for a 66% completion rate. Cade completed 55 of 80 in two games for a 69% completion rate.
