- How to make a Nutella Cookie Pie! A fab dessert to share with friends and family! don't forget a good scoop of ice cream to go with it :)

Calling all chocolate and Nutella lovers! 🤩 This cookie pie is everything you need and more 🤤
Super soft and gooey cookie dough, that’s loaded with chocolate chips! Stuffed with a thicc layer of Nutella 🤌
Sound on for full instructions 🔉
All you need is:
200g unsalted butter, softened
250g light brown sugar
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
320g plain flour
1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
200g chocolate chips + some for the top
350g Nutella
Bake 160C (fan) 25-30mins - allow to cool fully in the tin
Tin size: 8” springform pan

For anyone wondering the text(s) said (in order)
-200g butter, softened
-250g light brown sugar
-mix together
-1 large egg
-1 tsp vanilla
-mix until combined
-320g plain flour
-1/2 tsp bicarbonate of soda
-fold/mix until combined
-200g chocolate chips
-fold/mix in
-take out 1/3 to make a lid
-press the rest into a tin
-create a lip around the edge
-350g Nutella
-smooth out (till edges)
-place (cookie dough) lid on top
-seal edges
-add more choc chips (on top)
Bake:
-160C (fan)
-25-30 mins

Thank you. But it’s 160 C (325 F), not 130 C (275 F). Please correct your post or a lot of people who follow this will wind up with an undercooked mess.

My mom made this and it tasted good but warning for your first try don't take a large piece because it will be too much. It tastes good, but best to eat it in small amounts everyday.
Well in that case i propably shouldn't make this cuz i honestly don't think i would be able to control myself with this on my plate😭

Everyone in this reply section doesn’t know what overeating is like for some people- if you’ve been eating super sugary foods your whole life, (basically all foods) or fast food, some of the things convert to sugar. (Ex, starch) and eating something like this, is bad. Especially all the added sugar. Nutella is very sugary, so are chocolate chips. And 250g of sugar is VERY bad. I’m 12, I have prediabetes, so I know. You guys in this reply section have NOOO idea.
If my uncle was alive I would show this to him the next time I would’ve seen him. Ps he loved chocolate so much but I was the only person he shared his desserts with because I too love chocolate

Nutella cookie pie
200g softened butter
260g light brown sugar
MIX
1 large egg
1 Table spoon vanilla
MIX
320g of plain flour
Half table spoon bicarbonate of soda
MIX
200g of choc chips
Take 1/3 for lid
Press the rest in a tin, lip the edges
350g of Nutella, smooth out
Place lid on top, seal edges
Add choc chips
Bake in oven 160c (fan) 25-30m
Let it cool

@@BTSARMY-sq6xi 1.) Add 200g of softened butter and 250g of light brown sugar into a bowl and cream them together
2.) Mix in 1 large egg and 1 tsp of vanilla
3.) Add 320g of plain flour and 1/2 tsp of baking soda and fold until combined
4.) Fold in 200g of chocolate chips
5.) Shape 2/3 of the dough into the bottom and sides of the circular pan
6.) Fill pie with 350g of Nutella and smooth it out evenly
7.) Place the rest of the dough (1/3) on the top of the pie and shape into a lid (make sure to seal edges, no gaps)
8.) Add more chocolate chips on top
9.) Bake in oven for 25~30 minutes on 160C (fan)
10.) Cool

That's why instead of using Nutella, I made a dark chocolate ganache instead so I could control the amount of sugar to put in the filling.
