Fantastic cards, couldn’t have done it without your small helper. My niece and her son aged 7 had a great play with some of my stamps the other day. Improved master 7 years old mood considerably too tired after a busy Christmas. Happy new year to you and your family. Thank you for all of your great videos ❤❤
Hi Natasha 🥰🦘🦘🦘 I love this technique. Will try it over brick stencil & put arch with front of🚆as arches remind me of the train tunnels I have been in & out of in my recent holiday. Thank you so much for showing these pretty backgrounds using those so simple, common things. Wow!👏👏🌈🏆
They turned out SO good!! Well Mom don't look at it like you're correcting a wrong but TRAINING him on what to do if too much glue comes out. Yes they grow up way too fast!!!!
Whaaat!! This is next level ink swiping Natasha! These cards are superb! And those flowers??!! Ahhh!!😍 You are so an Artist!! An artist shows another way to look at something and you do that every time!!!! ❤
Beautiful cards but my favorite part was your little helper! And when you said you don’t usually correct what they do my heart just melted 💕what an amazing mama and teacher you must be. To give children the freedom to do things their way and learn from that is sometimes very difficult but still very necessary.
Cute little boy hands! I have 3 boys in their late teens and early 20s. So sweet that he crafts with you! love that! Good job momma! Stunning cards- love the swiping technique. gonna give it a try
I have never tried this before, you do it with such ease….these cards are outstanding….and, I love seeing those dear little hands in there, wanting to help you❤️
Love them all and it looked like a lot of fun. I did love it when you grew 2 extra hands. Children grow up so quickly, my boys are in their late 30’s now but we had lots of fun with paints and stamps etc. we always made Christmas gifts for Grandparents etc. They are special times. ❤❤
Love this technique. Haven't tried it cause I don't have any reinkers. Loved the petals the most. And enjoyed watching your helper. They grow up too quick.and it's nice and fun to have someone crafting with you. Thanks for Sharing.
You come up with some great ideas and then gorgeous cards using the techniques. I love all of these especially the first one. Definitely going to give the technique a try when I can. So many things I want to try, not enough hours to do it in - Sigh!
Loved these cards! The ink swiping technique looks like great fun! I do have an idea to use this technique with red, green, and some lunar paste in gold and silver. Can't wait to see if it works like I envision! Loved your little helper popping in to encourage our creativity.
Fabulous idea to make colours on the card. Really enjoyed this video. And the little hands make it all the more special. Thank you for sharing, Natasha..x
Love the swiping technique and the cool cards you’ve made from your examples. Always fun to see your helpers crafting with you. My older granddaughter, now 3 1/2, helping me is such fun. Thanks, Natasha.
I love this technique! It’s so much fun! My favorite card was the last one! It just turned out so beautifully! I would not have thought about this design. But it sure was pretty!
Natasha I absolutely love this technique! The all the cards! You are such an amazing artist. Love your videos everytime! Thanks for sharing your talent! Hugs!
WOAH!!! I loved all of your swiping samples and cards, they gave me groovy vibes, a retro feel! Those little hands also take me back to when my children were little and sat on my lap......let me tell you, in their twenties and they just stopped, hahahaha, I love them! Thank you for all you share with us!!!
Aww Natasha they’re such lovely cards! ❤ I especially loved the flower card the best. I know you say you’re not an artist but boy those backgrounds look pretty artistic to me! Definitely a technique I must try with the ink swiping. I have heaps of Stampin up ink refills so must give it a try. Well done Natasha! 😊❤
This reminds me of the techniques Dee Grundig used to promote Ranger's Alcohol inks, before Tim Holtz. She added them to the top of a sponge and dragged and twisted etc. Thanks for reminding me and using dye inks too.
Wild watching this technique. YEARS ago I bought a kit that came with very dense sponges of different square and rectangle sizes. You used them with alcohol inks (but probably could have used reinkers-never tried that!). It had a little book with it that showed all the different patterns that you could make. Of course, Natasha, you made most of the patterns in there and didn't need the book! Also goes to show to "use what you've got". This technique did the exact same thing using almost free supplies. And I know at the time, that kit wasn't cheap!! PS-still have the sponges which I may pull out and try with reinkers.
I've done ink swiping using dye inks and alcohol inks by applying the ink to felt. Love your idea for using an acrylic block for the inks. Such fun ideas that I can try with my 4 year old great nephew for our next art day!
Hi Natasha, I saw this technique done with Alkohol color, but not with dye ink refills. Thanks for sharing. It looks like lots of fun I will try this 😅🫶👏
I have seen this done by adding I ink directly to the wipe. But, I think this gives a better result. They both have their place, but I do like this one.
The one with the flowers and the sentiment give me SUCH 1970s vibes!

I think it's wonderful that your children craft as much as they do.

I wish I could get into your head and pull out some of the “file cabinets “ to rummage thru all your great ideas!!! The card making Queen you are!!!
I'd keep the scrap paper that had muddy ink pattern for sentiment or flowers dies to make funky stuff too, thank you for your beautiful video xx
Whaaat!! This is next level ink swiping Natasha! These cards are superb! And those flowers??!! Ahhh!!😍

Another craft has referred to swiping with ink as swinking, so you could use that term!
