So I just look up the Wikipedia article on this competition and apparently this organization is trying to make it to the Olympics. But I feel this whole "Non-injurious, light, controlled touch contact to the body and head is allowed (but neither to the face nor the throat)" is going to make it difficult. The Olympics tend to likes rules that are easy to understand for the most part and easy to see who is winning. I'm a fan of many different combat sports and even I don't understand who is winning. I feel like even the implementation of semi contact so that people see which hits are actually landing would help a lot.
