Hi Crys, I've been a proud dog mom of a rescue for 12 years. She was very nervous when I adopted her and given the opportunity she'd chew my shoes. So I made sure to had plenty of toys. Despite I didn't want to crate her so I gave her a gated areas as you have. I've never heard of a dog ringing a bell to let you know that they need to pee. I love the respect you show for your new puppy. For the best answers, you may want to look into dog obedience training. Also, I pray that you have enough time and patience to spend with your new puppy since you have a very busy schedule. When I was working I came home everyday for lunch to walk her or take her for a stroll. Also, I played dog tv for her with some soft music to give her some comforting noise while I was away. This way she wasn't so lonely. I've recently retired and love the time I have with her. Blessing to you and I wish you the best with your new fur baby.
The skincare rant had me dying!!!! 😂 Literally because of the skincare products you've shown, I have not had a breakout since I followed your routine and I used to have really bad acne. Welcome Benji🐶🐶🐶 When I trained my pup, every time he went in the wrong place I would take him back to the spot and say no in a stern voice and immediately take him to the pad and say pee here. When he got it right, I would reward/praise him.
So it will take a while to puppy train, people do things differently but I used a crate to train my puppy, but after they pee in the wrong place, put them where you want them to pee and when they do, praise them and give a small treat. After a while the puppy will correlate peeing in the right place to you being happy and them getting a treat. It takes discipline for them and you as well. You usually have to take them out every few hours too.i trained two dogs in my life and it was a challenge for me to be consistent but I was also working full-time away from home. Congratulations on the puppy he is adorable.
I have wanted to learn more and be more creative with my crochet. Last week, I bought a set of Tunisian crochet hooks! I'm so, SO excited to start my first project! 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

One of the best things we as a family did was get a dog. The comfort and unconditional love they provide is amazing. They can be a handful, but it’s worth it. Mine makes 3 next month.

I've been intentional about carving out some alone time to just hang out with me. I'm a stay at home mom. First for my children and now my grands. All my time goes to my family and at days end, I haven't done anything for me. Even forget my meds some days. So, I've started to do me😀
Crystal, it happened to me with heating up some pork bon in a plastic draw on top of a pot with water, the plastic drainer caught fire on the stove and I was in the bath tub. I get out and walk in the living room and flames were burning down the kitchen.
I ran and grabbed the burning basket, threw it in the sink and some fell on my leg. I still have a mark to remind me.
Another time I left my iron skillet on the stove after I washed my dishes, and put the iron skillet on the stove to dry it out and went to bed, slept all night with that skillet on the stove with fire from my electric stove, on all night and God didn’t let my place burn down nor kill me from smoke inhalation.

Great vlog, as usual! As it relates to the curtains, move the panels all the way to the outside so none of the blinds are showing out the outer edge. Also, if you want them to completely cover the windows, you’ll need another pair. Another option would be to get a pair of sheer panels for the center.

Please make sure your scents (candles too) are pet friendly. Especially for a puppy.
Great advice. Dogs may be sensitive to essential oils and fragrance blends. Saw a vid where the dog was having seizures because of it's owner's lavender/sage diffusing.

Omg that dog is sooo cute!!! Welcome to pet guardianship 🤗❤️. It's a lot of work, I MEAN A LOT, but so worth it. He will bring you so much joy. I've had my dog for almost 9 years (he's almost 11), and he's such a support and comfort .

Hi @ Crystal. Regarding your hyperhydrosis there is no permanent solution that isn’t surgical. My husband had to get surgery to get rid of it permanently.

Vision boards I usually go to half price book store buy .50 cent magazines Oprah,jet,ebony, and other magazines. Use them to cut out pictures,instead of printing out pictures. Brings out your creative side.

So much to learn, but being a dog mom is very rewarding ❤Just so you know they make seat belts for the car and diapers for dogs (you can use for car rides) if you’re interested. Also mirrors for your visor so Benji can sit in the backseat and you can keep an eye on him. Lastly, Pet Smart and other stores offer dog training/doggie school. The dogs get a diploma and everything upon completion. Congratulations and enjoy!

Don’t let the applicator touch your face and be like 🫤. When I go to wash my face I’m fresh out the shower. My hands are clean. If I’m only washing my face, I wash my hand 50/11 times cause I tinkle all day. The only times my hands are dirty is probably if Ive left the house or retrieving packages from patio or eating…. I’ve had several dogs and unfortunately training is a trial of patience. I think the best method is to have them where’s leash while out of their crate that is attached to you so you’re aware of their every move and can redirect them. If you see him about to assume the position, immediately pick him up and take him where you want him to relieve himself and say peepee and give lots of praise after. Also you can predict his urge to go to the bathroom in some settings (after waking up, playing or exercising and if he’s circling). Hope this 1:41:24 helps and there are dog training videos on RUclips with similar advice
Add it to your alarm schedule that reminds you of your events and times of your events/exercise classes.

I’m so happy for you and Benji. I have three Pomeranians. The cage is so cute. You should put some doggy pads in their just in case he make a mistake while in their so he won’t mess up the floor and rug you have their. When I got my dogs they were so scared of car rides and one of them vomited in the car. Puppies bring so much joy and happiness to a family. Congratulations on the new addition. You can also get a car seat for him that attaches to his collar so he won’t fall or jump out his seat while driving. Put some small pads in your car as well so you won’t have to wash his seat often. Dog mom I love it.

Closer to the door I wanted her to go out of then I started to take her out every 2 hours consistently until she got to the point of knowing to go to the door to potty so yes waking up in the middle of the night but it worked and got her on a routine

Our dog use to pee when she was nervous or excited. He’s going to cry at night for at least the first 3-4 days. I use to have to hold my dog when I drove and she was a dang German Shepherd the struggle was REAL!!

Be patient with training. I wanted to give my puppy back after 3 days because he cried all day and night the first 3 days and peed and pooped on the floor for weeks. He is not going anywhere now bc the whole family attached. I got him for the same reasons you got Benji.

Hey sis! I got miradry as well and I had to have 2 sessions. The second session was significantly discounted and the place where I went. Unfortunately most people need 2 sessions and it has made a huge difference.

Tell them sis! I actually do take medication for my sweaty palms. I shake hands all day and six years ago I went and got medication and it's worked wonders.
