Oh I hate those mornings when I wake up really early and cannot get back to sleep. Happens a lot to me. Just trust your gut instinct when making decisions. I’m no expert by any means but it usually works for me.
As a millenial I wouldn't say I'm an expert in TikTok, but being on it regularly and I find it helpful to make tiktok's that revolve around one popular theme, like travel/Paris for example. I think it'd be super cool to see Tiktok's from you for example about "Things in Paris that just don't make sense" or "Day in the life of a Paris RUclipsr". Those two things alone would bring in the views no question.
I do miss the face to face chats with friends. We had two friends come over for dinner and they stayed the night. It was so fun just chatting. I also didn’t sleep enough, but what woke me up was the desire to make chocolate chip muffins for my friends! I also took a nap! Take care of yourself.

Jay, don't look directly into your new grow lights ... they will give you a low grade headache... the reflected light off the walls in your apartment might also mess up your sleep cycle.

When I first got my Ebike, I felt like I needed to push it to the max every time I rode it. that was 20MPH for me, and lately, I have realized that isn't that important, just pedaling along and enjoying the ride is so nice.. Here is how I realized that. I went out on my non ebike. rode 30 miles and realized that I never get that fast anyway, what's the rush? just chill and be comfy.

I love your decision on how you keep the ~ color grading ~ just the way the city looks like. I live in Budapest and despite having some vlogs and stuff beautifully filmed with cinematic colors, professionally color corrected, shades and bla bla bla, at some point it takes away the REAL day to day image of the city, which is a shame and I would like to see the city the way that it actually is.
TikTok can definitely work for some folks depending on what they want to achieve. It’s definitely got a demographic attached, too. It’s got a huge reach, and depending on the full nature of Secret Project Number 2 (which is obvi something to do with Paris tourism), the SEO is growing with it and you might want to use it to promote that project once it’s live. Just an idea based on a couple of people I know who’ve seen big success with 1 million + views on a couple videos they made. Also, I think it’s probably a good thing the bike is slower, haha! Truly, though. I had a student many years ago hit by a car while on a bike and it left her in a vegetative state. No helmet. No bueno. Take care.

The short format is good for consumption though and people are always saying to “find your niche”. If you do decide to do it, maybe make a series that goes along with your guide?! People would def jump on TTok to get a preview of some of the places you recommend.
