I wish I knew the answer, and I am Organist/Choral Director at a large church. It is a constant struggle to maintain an atmosphere of serenity within the service. Evangelical TV influence creeps in now and then...very disturbing..

Where was this recorded? The dome copies the Pantheon, and there is an organ. But there is no religious iconography. So that knocks out every religious building I know. It looks like a mosque, but women and organs not allowed. No seating makes me think of Orothodox, but no iconography knocks that out. Quaker hall? No - the organ. Jewish? No bimah. Catholic or Protestent? No alter and no seating. And I can't think of a secular reason for such a hall. Thank you!

Does anyone know what these instruments are called? especially those tall long flute-like ones?
Recorders. Specifically, they are playing a tenor recorder, bass recorder, two greatbass recorders and a contrabass recorder.
Exactly which sizes of recorders are being played in this video?
I would say the smallest size used here is a tenor, then there is one basset recorder, two great basses and one contrabass recorder.
maybe not a tenor recorder, but a voice flute...?

We recorded this at the "Ronde Lutherse Kerk" (= Round Lutherian Church) in Amsterdam. It is currently part of a hotel and in secular use.
