I actually have an old copy kicking around somewhere in my collection, just don't remember whether I grabbed the DLC after finishing the main storyline. This has me soo tempted to pop it into the 3DS I have from back in the glory days of that console and see what I have yet to accomplish in it!
That's one of the reasons I made this video, I myself have been lacking on completing this game! But it's such an under appreciated game! I'm hoping the switch version gets big love, this game has aged beautifuly! Also hope you do jump in on the dlc, it adds so much flavour to the base game!
I never did beat the Origin Island DLC just the base game. I gave my 3DS to my younger cousin years ago with all my games on it, so i'm replaying the game now on Citra. Forgot how deep the grind is lol but it brings back memories. Totally excited for the new game.
You might be thinking of the original DS's wifi game related connection since the 3DS's internet still works I've seen stuff for using fan servers to bring back the Wii's internet so there's a possibility for it to return if it does one day shut down. There's even made an alternative to Miiverse Either way I like your explanation for this game cause while I love Fantasy Life I have trouble with making a good explination
Yeah my biggest apologies, I thought they got rid of the online function of the game but I'm so happy they didn't. And thanks so much. I'm glad so many love this game the same way I do and that this game is still getting the love it deserves!

The multiplayer still works, the local multiplayer works with no internet so it'll probably never stop working and the online is still working too

Online multiplayer won't work anymore in April, unfortunately.

I look around on Facebook groups and (Just like me) have gotten back into playing the old 3DS game in anticipation for "The Girl who steals time" 😮

I hope the game has an English dub option, but if not, if it just lets me turn off the voice’s I can live with it
