Are people not allowed to wear shoes everywhere in a gurdwara including a kitchen? Are all those preparing food in a gurdwara volunteers?

it's only no shoes for certain areas, but yes the kitchen is one of those areas. Yes, they are all volunteer's making the food!.. Great people!
