Well what happened to Fred Dursts record label? The 1st 2 COLD albums were.under that label so if Fred is still running his record company Flip records why not get COLD in there damm it! COLD are awesome
The Deftones have written their songs the same way as cold. The music is often written first, and the lyrics are a reaction to the music. I thought The Deftones were the only band who did that until hearing this interview.
That's generally how all bands write. I've written with various musicians, and it's usually a guitarist that comes out with a riff, then the drummer puts a beat in behind that, and then bass player and vocals would add there stuff
