Ten Lamps I will try to make them as often as I can. Being in school full-time and having a full-time job keeps me busy. But the reason why I’m at school is to learn how to write Bible studies better. Can’t wait to make more in the future 👍😃
So I am recently gaining an interest in Christ from being an Athiest and started reading the Bible these past few days and have been finding videos exploring where to start. The other day I clicked on a random Easter Sunday livestream someone had shared and as soon as I did, the minister addressed non-believers but those who are curious which I thought was very coincidental. I looked some up worship music after seeing a video and a song that stuck out most to me that I wanted to hear was about coming to the alter which stuck with me and I'm starting to think there's more at work than simple 'coincidences'. I still don't know if this is the path I want to take but there is definitely a pull towards it. These videos of yours have been super helpful and I have found a bible reading plan I will try to stick to. I don't have anyone in my life that is an active Christian really especially at my age (22) so was wondering where would be the best place to start if anyone has any suggestions or wants to help! I just want someone or a group to explore this with. Thank you :) (also I wish I was talented at art but it's best I leave that for the pros haha)

So good to hear that you're exploring your faith! We're around the same age so great to hear that there are other young people curious about God. Totally agree with you that these girls are such an encouragement!! I really feel like Jesus is knocking on the door of your heart and anticipating you'll leave the door ajar one day (scripture from Revelation). I've personally found the book of John, in the new testament, to be so powerful in my relationship with Christ; teaching me about Jesus Christ, His life and resurrection and how that gives me purpose. I would totally recommend looking at bible studies online to guide you through it or looking up bible studies on youtube/sermons. I would have said to get connected to a church but that's currently not possible - perhaps start looking at places you might like to fellowship at nevertheless, they're more than likely to have online services at the moment that you can connect to if you have social media. Otherwise, I'm not sure if you've heard of Alpha, it's an (online) course exploring Christianity and they're really happy to answer any questions you have. It will also be a great platform to make friends on! You're also more than welcome to message me :)
@@denoa3166 Thank you! There is a local church that we visit at the end of terms with the school I work in and I really like the minister there. I watched his service last Sunday and am planning to tune in to the livestream this Sunday also! I feel a strong pull to this parish church too as my grandpa used to go every Sunday and the minister even did his funeral service back in 2009 and whenever I've been looking into the bible I feel a stronger connection and memories flow back of my grandpa which I'm loving. Thank you for your suggestions and I'll be sure to look around :)
Kirsty, how exciting that you are curious about God and the Bible. I definitely recommend getting plugged into a local church. I know we can't actually be with them now, but that would be great to do soon! Also, continue listening to Bible-based sermons, that will really help you grow! Most importantly, try to read the Bible and spend time with God personally. I'll be praying for you, Kirsty!
@@briannamcleod8995 Thank you! I definitely need to contact the church I am interested in and will do so soon. Right now I am starting in Genesis and reading a few chapters a day with relating videos as well as reading a Psalm a day also. It's taking me time to read and recount what goes on but I've started a journal for this and am really enjoying the time I'm spending doing so! I also just got my physical Bible in the mail today (NIV edition) and am loving it too! :)
@@highlightyoongi praise the Lord! Continue in the Bible. I also journal what I learn in my Bible study, and it is so amazing! You can later look back and see what God taught you. I would also recommend reading some in the New Testament about Jesus and more about salvation. (The 4 Gospels: Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and even Romans 3)!

I made Bible Book marks. Which turned out so well during the quarantine. Since I've been reading the bible alot and finding eye opening scriptures!, that I wanted to take a note of.

This looks so much fun! I was just telling my husband I wanted to learn how to paint with water colors. Definitely doing to try. Btw I love how cute you and your mom are together I think it is SO SWEET that y’all are spending time with the Lord together and doing art. I never had that type of relationship with my mom, but this inspires me to try things like this with my kiddos. ❤️
I love all of your craft videos! I am unbelievably artsy because I am dyslexic, if you don’t know what that means, It is a learning disability. It makes it very very difficult to read! I remember when I was little crying because my mom would work so hard to teach me how to read a word and one minute later I couldn’t read it. It’s gotten a little bit better Tama but I still struggle daily! This has always made it very difficult to read my Bible! So I’ve started using the Bible app and I will follow along in my own Bible. Of course I don’t know why I have dyslexia but I do know that God is going to use it for his good and glory, and I know that even though I struggle, because I am dyslexic I’m able to see things in a different way than most people! So I love to do anything from woodworking to painting to sewing to calligraphy, So it’s very cool to see A fellow artist, thank you for all your amazing content you have inspired me to dig deeper into my Bible, and it has been amazing so thank you.
Just started watching your vlogs this year. Had Covid and at the same time during isolation, felt panic attacks and anxiety and claustrophobic all at the same time. This inspired me so much to have WAY more fun with my bible and bible study! I started personalizing my bible but was so hard on myself thinking that I just made the page ugly or not wanting to draw or write in it because of not wanting to ruin the pages. But now I’m just gonna have fun with it! Thanks for reminding me there no such thing as perfection.

I have acrylic painting a go, with a plastic card LOL 😂 I’ve used acrylics before but not with a card and definitely not abstract art. I was inspired by the work I had done during my bible study with the help of your guide. I’ve tagged you on Instagram so you can see my ‘creation’, I’m creativehallelujah on there. You probably know this but if you prep your pages with a gesso you won’t see the paint or markers at all really. Plus it makes the page silky, if you try it check out art basics clear gesso it’s the best!
