- Hi friends! Today we are talking Target. I wanted to share where I stand on it and why. I had a ton of food prep to do so I thought it would be a good time to bring you along while I get some things done and say the quiet parts out loud.

Target has hired a satanist to design some of their clothing. Direct quote from Target: "I know how Satan loves you and respects who you are; your important and valuable in this world and you deserve to treat yourself with love and respect. LGTBQ + people are so often referred to as being a product of Satan or going against God's will so fine. We'll hang with Satan instead." I could post more from the article, but I think that alone is enough. We as Christians, need to stand up to being woke and putting the things of the devil right into our faces and our children faces. I'm not a parent, but I can only imagine in today's world how difficult it is to try to protect your children from the things of darkness. They are also promoting and selling this clothing line targeted, no pun intended toward children and teens. It's time to ban shopping at Target, this isn't okay.
Thank you Michelle! I know many feel I have been a hatedful bigot who is insighting violence for my stance claiming that the designer was not selling his more satanic themed items IN TARGET. That he was just expressing his artistic license.
To that I say, it does NOT matter If he sold them on a boat, with a goat, in the rain, in the dark, in a tree, in a car, in a box, with a fiox, in a house, with a mouse, here ot there, or anywhere. I do not care where he sold those items. I will not give my money to a store that hired him. I draw the line.
I also held in my hands and saw with my eyes childrens items designed by others. That's not okay with me. Target has partnered with GLSEN for many years. I have a problem with the policies of GLSEN. I qoute, "shall not disclose any information that may reveal a students gender identity to others including parents or guardians.
For those who say, parents control the wallet they don't have to buy the items if they disagree. To them I say you are correct, we the parents control what and where we shop. When we see a company partner with a group who disincludes parents from their childrens lives, then partners with a designer who at the very least mocks my God (MY OPINION), and then includes children in their pride collection we indeed have the right and in my opinion responsibilty to vote with our feet and our dollar.

If you call yourself a Satanist, then you must also believe in God. Satan always makes a counterfeit of what God has already created. For example, the rainbow.. THE PROMISE OF GOD, what does the devil do but make a counterfeit and make it mean something else that it was never intended to mean. Satan defiled what God had already created, a PROMISE HE GAVE TO US ALL. If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything. When you spoke about an expiration date of your own, Satan also knows he has an expiration date and it's coming fast. Why would he be so eager to attach himself to those that are innocent? Those that don't understand or comprehend, the children. It's the responsibility of the parent to protect their children. God gave you those children as a gift and if you do not protect them, then you will stand before a Holy God one day and need to justify to Him why you didn't. We all have an expiration date. Each of us are dying everyday. This life here on earth is but a vapor compared to eternity. It's a choice, a decision. Will you choose eternity in heaven or an eternal fire of hell for all eternity? God says His thoughts towards you outnumber the grains of sand. To even comprehend that is mind blowing. That God truly thinks about you, He cares about you and He truly loves you. God gave His one and only Son, so that we may have atonement for our sins and eternal life. Would you be so willing to give up one of your children for this world? This my friend is how much HE LOVES YOU!

I think some people are missing her point here. She isnt passing judgment...in my opinion. I think she feels convicted as a Christian not to associate with Target because of her beliefs. And she has every right to do so. I admire her for standing up for her beliefs. Whether we feel the same or not. Shes being honest and i respect her for that. Her issue was not with LGBT and a pride section its with a satanic influencer selling their product in Target to children. Listen to what she is saying!!
Read up on this issue. That Target designer lost their contract with Target.
I did see that. I looked him up after I watched the video. I don't have a problem with anyone being gay or lesbian. I have gay and lesbian friends I treat everyone the same. I'm not going to stop shopping somewhere because they sell certain products and I consider myself to be a Christian. I think we all answer to God in the end and he is to be our judge and jury...not each other.

@@karenh2890 the problem comes when the corporation only fires him AFTER the backlash. They want to make it look like they are doing something. To try appease former customers and bring them back. The damage has been done. Trust has been lost. I think it would have been better NOT to have gone into business with a satanist to begin with.

We have stopped shopping at Target too. Like you said kids are just trying to learn math and spelling. Let’s not make it anymore confusing for them. There are so many avenues of attack against our kids in this world. My kids love getting some of their favorite things from Target, myself as well. We told them we won’t be shopping there anymore last night and there were ok with it and I was very pleased with their response. Thank you for being vocal about this topic. Being the salt and light!

I agree with you. I did ban Target from my list. I just can’t support what they are doing.
Thank you for publicly standing up for your beliefs and values! I have not shopped at Target for a few years now, ever since the whole "one bathroom for all" debacle arose. At first I thought what kind of impact would losing one customer have, but now I feel like it isn't just me! Thank you! So sad to see the condition this country has fallen to.
My husband and I left target when that policy was instituted, as well! As believers, my experience in and retirement from psychiatric nursing, as well as learning young friends had their children accosted in public bathrooms we just could not support the store's policy decision!! I am sickened by their position in the public marketplace!! God help and bless parents of young and vulnerable children only He can protect in our country's wicked culture. God bless you and yours.
I had almost forgotten about Gemco, we were from Fresno, but, moved out of state 15 yrs ago. But I never really never shopped at Target. We as Christians have to stand against evil and protect our children. How we spend our dollars speak volumes to these companies.

Anybody who thinks that Target is against children is not being factual. THEY NEVER TRIED TO INFLUENCE CHILDREN OTHER THAN TO
TEACH ACCEPTANCE AND KINDNESS. The only thing they did was to widen the bottom of some women's bathing suits, and if you are familiar with some of the problems that some women have with this area you would understand.

Canadian here🇨🇦 We don’t have target and I honestly have not seen anything like that here…..yet! Raised a Roman Catholic and my children attended Catholic school growing up. In their 20’s now and they tell me things and I just cannot believe - this is being shoved down their throats in elementary school now. I’m shocked. 😮 Why? Leave the children alone. You have touched my heart in so many ways God has given you this platform for a reason. Use that platform for God's glory because there are so many of us that are hungry for frank, friendly & God centered conversations. I'm at a low point in my life, desperately needing a hip replacement, but have been to three surgeons who are too booked to operate. Being really down tonight & in very much pain, I cannot tell you how much you have lifted my spirit with this video, I have been angry with God lately because I'm basically couch bound & don't understand "why me". Thank you for reminding me where my strength comes from tonight. You never know how much God is using you right now & how much you are blessing others. Good grief I love how Christians in the USA have shoved their beliefs and agendas for decades in government, the courts, schools etc and still get their panties in a twist over pride stuff. No one is pushing it on kids, do you think kids see a pride shirt or a rainbow and are suddenly gay?!?

Thank you for your honesty and wisdom. Retailers need to hear our voices, and that they cannot continue to cater to one veiwpoint without alienating another. They have a right to support any cause they like, but so do I. I agree that if they'd give beilivers "equal time" and sell and highlight what we'd like to see, it would be a different story. I also draw the line when they try to influence and target our children.
I also stopped shopping Target . I agree with you 100%. We need to stand up for the children. Adults can do what they want. But it's the children I don't like them coming after.

Yes! Honestly I have loved Target forever but this going after our children… satan items.. is a big NO WAY in my book. I had decided last Sunday that I had to part ways with Target as well. Loved their drive up grocery service, but I’ll make the effort to go elsewhere. It’s important that we stand up to this sort of garbage.

I only just heard today about this latest Target thing, when my husband told me. I have tended to not shop there often in recent years, because of previous issues with them, where they are in opposition to our family’s biblical core values and beliefs.
This is the last straw for me. I will not be shopping there at all.

I'm all for love who you love, live and let live, etc...but when my husband told me about this and there were items targeting (or marketed for) childern I LITERALLY felt nauseated (and slightly depressed) for 2 days! This is going too far! I hope this becomes the final nail in Target's coffin so that other businesses learn this can't continue. I stand with you, Auntie Coo Coo! It's fair that we live our truth, too!
@@user-ig3wu4fo3n Hubby told me about the swimsuits for kids with a "tuck pouch" for boys so they could hide the fact they were born boys. It sickened me to think this is where our country is headed and our kids are so vulnerable.
In an honest conversation I would tell people the truth, the problem is it's not what everyone wants to hear! 🤔💭 Everyone wants to think everyone is the same in life, we all need love and family in our lives and that might be true for most of us, but certainly not all of us!
Having close friends in law enforcement, I have heard many stories about the prison system and what actually goes on! Many of these people who want to love who they want to, are doing evil sexual things to children, there called children molesters! These people have no, sexual boundaries, and think it's normal to carry out there sexual perverse behaviors out on children!
Children are always involved, in this lifestyle! They don't see boundaries! And when the guy couples fight fits fly and real damage is done!

Totally agree with you. I was never more than a random Target shopper….mostly the dollar spot. However I loved to look at all they had and gather inspiration. I have 5 grandchildren…2 13yr olds, 2 11yr olds and an 8 yr old…I know that I can’t shelter them from everything but Target was one of the places they liked to go on their birthday shopping trips with me. The 13yr olds are 9 days apart, the 11 year olds are 2 months apart and I take the pairs together for a day of whatever they want to do and then shopping. The baby and I go together❤️. I just don’t think I can ever take them to Target again.

Great job and I am not a Target fan for the reasons you have stated. Our children are the future, (I know not an original thought), but how my heart hurts for all the horrible things that are out there for their little eyes to see!! What’s happening in TX? I’ve been to Target many times in many different states and have never seen anyone forcing children to view or purchase PRIDE merchandise. Would you be OK if they moved or removed the Black History display because folks are offended by or dislike Black people? As a parent, you should have more influence over your children than an inanimate display in a store! Sounds like a weak cop out to me…

I totally agree with you. I haven’t shopped at target in some years. There was a time when I thought gee if Target went out of business I would be devastated. But before the pandemic I had stopped going there because their prices have gone up so much. I don’t believe them pushing an agenda on shoppers. Many years ago my sister lived in West Hollywood and she would tell us don’t go certain places when you come to visit because when they had the pride parade it was over the top and I had little kids.I like the dollar tree better and I shop for clothes at TJ Maxx

I stopped shopping there, cut up my Target card and deleted my app. I too feel they have pushed too far. Thanks for speaking out. Knowing there are other Christian women taking action is very heartwarming and reassuring that we are being the salt and light.

Totally agree. I am boycotting target as well as many of my friends and family. I’m disgusted with target and the items being targeted at children. If Satan is selling at Target then I’m out. Never said a word about pride items in the past but this is extreme and being pushed down our throat.

Wow…I’m gay and I’m a Christian. I’ve been watching your videos for a little while now, and have been doing a rewatch recently. I never saw this one when it initially came out. After watching it, I’m actually kind of gobsmacked.
The attitude of many supposed “Christians” in these comments is a huge slap in the face. Those in the LGBTQ+ community have families, and thank God mine don’t treat me the way some of these people seemingly would. Especially those of you with children, who may even be part of the LGBTQ+ community (they just may not have found the courage to tell you yet). Attitudes like this will often make them too afraid to be themselves. Yes, I’m gay, but God created me, just like He created them.
“That section” was pushed to the front of the stores in May simply because it’s pride month. Just like they have feature sections for Christmas, Easter, 4th of July, Halloween and Valentine’s Day. It’s not disrespecting you, it’s honouring those of us in the community who ARE proud of who we are, who shop there, who have families (and kids). And you know what? Kids ARE confused! Knowing that they are supported is the #1 thing they want.
And while I appreciate the tone in which you delivered your message, the tone doesn’t match the message. I’m so disappointed, Val. And I’m really disappointed by many of those in this comment section. I will continue supporting stores who will support me, and my family, and everyone else in the LGBTQ+ community.
I blame these sorts of attitudes on the scare-mongering tactics of a certain political party, who seems determined to drive a wedge through America. They use words like “woke” and “agenda”. There is no agenda! Why can’t everyone just get along? Why does everyone feel the need to judge others? Just let everyone live their lives, whether they’re black, white, straight, gay, man, woman, Christian, Jew, or something else.
God help me, I’m in tears now. 😢

You so eloquently put into words what I have been feeling for quite some time about Target. It’s a feeling of uneasiness and almost dread at shopping there now. What am I going to see today that makes me feel sad for the future of our world? I, too, have been wondering about Chip and Joanna Gaines and their thoughts about this, but their products don’t push an agenda because if they did, they would be removed from Target for sure! I have shopped at Target less and less in the last few years, and my last shopping trip had all the transgender merchandise front and center, which is Target’s right to display, just as much as it’s my right to boycott. I stand for my beliefs which are never represented in most stores. I always feel marginalized and cancelled by our culture, so I’ll just say goodbye and move on to shopping elsewhere. Thank you for sharing what was on your heart and please don’t take to heart the many people who I know will comment mean things about you and your video. Many of us feel the same as you. ♥️

Well said Val! My parents and most of my family stopped shopping targets when we found out they didn't allow the "bell ringers" (thats our nickname for Salvation army) at Christmas! No offense Sal-Mich! Mu son married a gal whose family practices in Salvation army church.
Sorry, I'm not into pushing my religion onto others and I'm not into anti-LGBTQ people, so I will have to unsubscribe. Because I honor God with my heart, I cannot support someone who uses their influence to undo the good works of others. Our LGBTQ people need love and support just like everyone else. God made LGBTQ people and though they may be different than us, it does not mean that He is wrong. Kindness and understanding go a long way in this world, and at the end of my days, that is how I want to be judged.

It’s not about hating on LGBT people, it’s about influencing impressionable children with confusing messaging and leading them to darkness on purpose. It’s not ok, we are not shopping at target right now either. It makes me extremely sad, I have spent many Saturdays and evenings browsing with my mom and sister there and I have a lot of cherished memories doing so, but not at the cost of satanic influences.
